My customer's fridge control board that I exposed after removing the 3 screws, had a red LED blinking. I unplugged it for 5 minutes. Plugged it back on. I then pressed the reset/test button on the program board once. Looked it temp display on the fridge's front. (11) (11) for test number one. Pressed it again (22) (22) showed up. Pressed it again, (33)(33) indicating 3rd test which is defrost cycle. Four press of the button is "return to normal operation" I did this last night. This morning I called her and she told me both fresh food compartment and the freezer are both at 42°/-2° respectively. The guy who worked on it before forgot to replace the 90° nylon compression fitting elbow connecting the water pump outlet to the water door line inlet. I popped over to Ace hardware, $4.99 later I had her water dispenser working too!

Hello, how are you? I love it the way you explain everything very clear. I have a refrigerator Kenmore the light in front. The face is ice and water. Both of us is off. Sometimes if I disconnected the refrigerator plug it back. Everything is nice working for a couple hours, but after one hour or two hour the light off and the light off you push for the water or ice none of hisworking I don’t know what’s the problem if you explain that for me appreciate it

Ok here’s my problem same junk Kenmore fridge. Literally the day after the warranty expires the compressor fails. I paid 1k to have it fixed ok. Six months later it all of a sudden stops working. I have a technician come over and check it out he says the fridge is shot. Being that I can’t afford a new fridge I unplugged it and then couple days later I plugged it back in and started working. I’ll six months later the thing defrost again and it’s not cooling any idea what’s going on? I have it unplugged it and I plan on trying to plug it back in again to see if I can get another six months out of it because I sure as hell can’t afford another fridge. we bought a new kenmore elite just like yours. It is the biggest piece of crap we have ever purchased. Thank God we had the extended warranty and the compressor replaced once already. It makes more noise and various different noises all the time. I am going to load it with fertilizer and blow it to hell where it belongs. Never buy a Kenmore.

Do you know anything about the self diagnostic feature that you can supposedly have it send some audio beeps or whatever and hold your phone up for a technician to analyze what it is reporting - there are steps within my Kenmore refrigerator manual but it doesn’t tell you what the sounds might mean and Sears wants to charge just to analyze it by phone ?

I have a kenmore french door fridge. Almost 2 yr old. The freezer is working fine. Have the fridge set on 33 and it is barely cooling. Took panel off and there isnt a blinking light. Checked the coils and not dirty. Any thoughts?

You said the freezer is working fine? Do you have ice cream in the Frezzer? Is it frozen solid ? If the ice cream is frozen solid. Then you may have a evap fan issue in the refrigerator section. Is the kenmore the same as listed in this vidoe ?

@@3rdpersontech It may be a different model. The model number starts with 111750 im not home to look up the rest. Ill check the ice cream when i get home. The fridge feels like room temp. The sodas are not cold enough to drink without ice. I unplugged it for about 15 min yesterday and no difference

@@kennethrich1942 is the refrigerator at the top and freezer at the bottom? If so check the ice cream like I said. If the cream cream is still frozen solid. More likely a evap fan issue. If your ice cream is soft more likely a seal system issue.

I have this exact model made in 2017 the fridge is running 50 degrees and freezer is running 38 degrees. I took off the panel and I don’t see a light flashing. Does this mean it isn’t a compressor? I just don’t want to call a repair person and be told it’s a compressor when it’s not.

I have a neighbor who has the same refrigerator and the red lights flashing red three times. It's cooling a little but not enough. There's a good door seal on the fresh food upper compartment and the freezer has a good seal by using a piece of newspaper and testing the door seal when both the upper doors are closed and the lower doors closed.

Kenmore Elite 795.72053.110 LED not blinking at all ...but its not cooling what could be the issue...compressor vibrates and heating up, Fan near compressor and inside one working too all lights inside and the panel display working fine...This one has quieter compressor than previous fridges though but fridge not cooling at all..?? I have similar issue with a similar model. 74023, compressor vibrates, all fans working, cleaned coils. Compressor does not get hot to touch. No led indications from PCB.

Mine was brand new in May of 2019. Model 795.7410#. Woke this morning to the ice maker in the door full of water. Literally opened the door and water splashed out all over the place. The freezer food was thawing and everything in the fridge was warm Unit has power, and it sounds like something is running, but it is no longer cooling. Sounds like you may need a compressor call for service the compressor is covered on the warranty but you may still have to pay for labor

If the lights dose not flash but the unit is still not cooling. You will need a tech to come out to tap the line of the compressor and check the pressure

@@MikelTheola1 how cold is the Frezzer? If the Frezzer is still freezing stuff like 10 f or lower. Then it sounds like you may just need a fan for the refrigerator section however this is me guessing that this unit is the shared air unit that shares air from the freezer to the refrigerator

Great. Do you know how to clear the defrost water drain. Water builds up in a tray on the ceiling of the fridge unit in my kenmore model 970R4224420 fridge then overflows onto fridge shelves and fills up at the bottom of the fridge. Appears to be a block but I can’t get that unit on the top of the fridge off to clear the drain.

What is wrong with you people. This video shows you a green light flashing that's it..! See a professional!! Are you kidding me!! $500-$1000 dollars.., Heck no! You need to take the bottom panel off of the back of the refrigerator and check the compressor and relay switch. Relay switch is very easy to remove.There are videos here on KZbin that will show you what to do. (And as always unplug the refrigerator before taking any parts off to replace.) If you need to replace anything usually the model and serial number for your refrigerator is inside the refrigerator. Good luck...and save some money!

I am more than able to fix it myself I just don’t know where to start nor do I know what to do, if a video was posted I’d be able to do it. @@3rdpersontech thank you for responding. The freezer works perfectly it even makes ice. I had a tech come out about 3 times to check it. They told me they had orders some parts. The parts got here after the warranty and they won’t honer it. I received a circuit-mother board and a orange cable. I’m thinking of just switching it myself but don’t what that orange cable is too. I can’t see that both the fan in the back and inside the fridge are running and so is the compressor. It feels hot but no cold air flowing to the fridge.
