There are so few singers who can truly do a Bonnie Raitt song justice, but Brandi’s incredible voice and performance served as the perfect tribute. Amazing, so happy for Bonnie with a well deserved honor

It’s not a Bonnie Raitt song, she sang it in the same way that every contemporary singer in the world has done, she didn’t write it

Brandi makes me cry just about every time I watch her perform. And Sheryl held her own on the keys! Beautiful work honoring a true Queen!

Brandi Carlile was the perfect choice to sing this song. She didn't try to imitate Bonnie and made the song her own. Beautiful voice and tribute. And having Sheryl Crow play piano was inspired.

Thanks to Brandi for continuing to reminds us of all the great artists that have come along with such musical excellence, singing this classic Bonnie Raitt version, like Joni Mitchell and Tanya Tucker, she redefines human generosity and her soaring vocals to celebrate another, truly a gift for the ages, another awesome version of I can't make you love me, thanks.. Bravo Bonnie and thanks Sheryl Crow for the keyboard treatment, just beautiful , magical music!

I just miss these kind of singers nowadays. The songs you hear on the radio or on the television are all about thousands of adlibs and about ego. Brandi knows it's just all about the song and the story it tells. That's the way a performance touches the heart.

Nowadays most of so called singers don’t sing live. All they do is lip sync and sell expensive tickets milking the fans

What a human and vulnerable performance, by both artists, for one of the best singer songwriters we have ever had. I recall hearing the original with Raitt when I cared for someone who clearly did not care for me when I was about 20. Little did I know that five years later I loved a man who also loved me deeply! Beautifully done. Thank you.

Bonnie Raitt surely deserves this recognition but singing a song that she had a huge hit with is really a tribute to the song writer, in this case, Mike Reid, formerly a member of the Cincinnati Bengals. Talk about finding one’s true calling.

As someone who knew her when she was little, it is a pleasure to watch her come into her own and be the person she is meant to be and be comfortable in her own skin. Maybe you should look at it like that rather than looking for the negative
