I find it quite perplexing that, even although this has had 50 million views on KZbin, there is hardly a mention of the most beautiful music which accompanies this dance. I haven't seen the title of this piece anywhere and neither is there a single mention of the composer's name, the musicians or the absolutely gorgeous choir whose heavenly voices permeate the music. Can someone please reveal to us the composer, musicians and choir and let them be recognised and acknowledged for this fabulous piece of music ?

Hey, Gordon! I'm very late in my answer but I found the song. It's called Tarian Seribu, by Bodhi Satva. Hope you will see it 😅

The best performers of all Abilities. We have enjoyed them many times around the world and at many Lions Club events.

It's so beautiful. I originally came after reading a novel called I'm Really A Superstar, and it included this performance so I got curious and came to see. It really is amazing.

Beautiful ❤ And from the looks of audience up front, they're not clapping but waving (jazz hands) their hands to show their applause! 😊

A prime example of how NOT to film the Thousand Hand Bodhisattva. There are far better example than this. The way this is filmed defeats the hard work of the troupe and the purpose of the piece. Such a shame.

Note, deaf is not disables peoples. Just loss of hearing, that’s all! We’re just normal peoples!
@andreasilva4853 жыл бұрын
Well disabled people are normal people. Being deaf has some struggles so they should be considered disabled people. But luckly we have sign language so deaf people can communicate with other people
@21sashalee2 жыл бұрын
Being deaf is considered a disability because it means you're literally missing an ability and there is nothing wrong with that, of course they're normal people!! This is coming from someone with a deaf parent, I'm really sorry if you're offended by it I'm just so confused about your statement.

@cherylberenice1693 жыл бұрын
This is shameful.. they should film this from just 100% front angle...
@AmoebaInk Жыл бұрын
There is a video that's just front angle, so I think it's kind of nice to see a variation, but yes, should be watched at least once straight on.

Why is there no applause? Are the audience blind?
@brionzhang36976 жыл бұрын
maybe the audience did not understand the culture of Buddha.
@maxismuse88726 жыл бұрын
Ming Han the performers are deaf, the audience uses sign language to applause

the dancers are mute, and the people who play the instruments are blind. It makes learning all of these dances (specifically this one) much much more difficult to learn, its amazing
