After watching this it shows and tell their side. I had a bad taste in my mouth because of all the false speculation for the friends. But as I watch I realize would I go looking for my friend in a kitchen of a hotel...No... cause it's a forbidden area for guest so why would I look there. so looking in a freezer would nevercross my mind.

I've already said that somewhere else but someone will always say something about racist.. cut it out, racism exists for whatever pathetic reason and is the same equally pathetic reason African americans say the N word in their music and call each other it(being racist to eachother), let's move on, not wasting life trying to change people, now that's out of the way, Tenneka in non customer area's and stumbling all over, what are security there for? To look at recorded camera footage only after things have happened? No real time work at all? I'm heavy into server administration even when it's not my own and I see traffic from many getting paid lots of money by whomever to put out whatever media out there to go against possible fact. Whatever what was put in Tenneka's drink or food was to kill, once they couldn't find her that was it, they knew what time it was at that point. I can't believe anyone who came with Tenneka would leave hotel without her or even give her back her keys first, what car did they leave in and why so fast? No need to run or be fantic from being casual whilst looking for her, one could say when they couldn't find her that meant she's been passed on to whomever already, job done. Females seem harmless but they get dangerous when setting anyone up, guard is so down for the most part. Most people trust female strangers than male strangers.. Also the male security indeed may have nothing to do with anything but he sure was doing other jobs all of a sudden then no jobs at all and the jobs he did were not done properly as he didn't spread the beds of customer rooms etc, we need a video of that hotel on a different day to see how it usually runs because all I say was nonsense, even if nothing camera recorded and just written down it wouldn't make sense if everyone had to write what they did not maybe it actually would because it wouldn't correlated with the footage at all. I haven't seen much videos, just the long ones with no talk over. Again you videos are great overall

The security and most hotel staff by now doing different hotel jobs know what blacks do in hotels so can't blame then for judging all blacks and guest what, smoking weed in the hall ways n dice which could make them lose business and they didn't even use a authorised bank card either. I agree that her friends probably weren't guilty of anything except leaving her alone in the hall to begin with. Very sad that by the time they walked in room to grab her belongings and realize she is missing she was more than likely already in the freezer. Not only have these girls lost a friend but there are so many people with their crazy theories, her family being involved, a kenneka double...seems like a huge stretch. Lots of lives ruined over an accident. Lets hope the hotel has made some major improvements.

This was my biggest question concerning this case. Why didn't one of them at least stay with the girl as she was obviously drunk out of her mind to the point where she couldn't think properly?? It was nice that they looked for her afterward, as they were obviously concerned, but one of them should've been with her for the rest of the night by the time she had gotten that intoxicated.

It’s so rare to have a case that’s as straightforward as this one, and yet there are still so many conspiracy theories. Yeah, it’s scary to think that something like that could happen just because someone was highly intoxicated, but it can and it does. Those freezer handles confuse a lot of people even when they’re sober, with the lights on and a sign above the handle (it’s always interesting to see new employees’ first experience with the freezer). So I can only imagine what it’d be like for someone who is so disoriented and uncoordinated that they wander around aimlessly and can’t even walk straight... likely trying to escape in pure darkness.

I am just revisting this case to see if any new info came out and I believe if there is ANY cover-up, it is on the hotel's end, for the sole reason of their negligence. And by cover-up I mean by any odd statements or conflicts/contradictions of their location and commitment to find Kenneka. Cosidering the time of the night, I understand the lack of crew assigned for those hours but one security guard on duty for such a large hotel is ludicrous. I guess the good ol days of a security guard sitting at a desk watching cameras is long gone, they'd rather have them running towels to guests...I believe the hotel could have and should have done more to assist in finding a missing girl but then again, it does not seem like she was a registered guest, just a part of a loud party, which they probably really didn't care for in the first place. That, and as I stated in another comment for a different vid, a missing person doesn't garner as much attention as a deceased person would, and they may have practiced just such concern when they were informed of a missing girl. I honestly believe that if any new circumstances are finally revealed, from the sound of the Jenkin's lawyer who held a press conference not too long ago, it's gunna be that the hotel was negligent in letting an inebriated person wonder into a closed area, an area under construction at that, and staff not noticing a lone girl in distress wondering the lower level where no one should have really been in the first place.

This video finally answered a question I could not get past. Why did she walk into the kitchen? When we are in public we don't usually go in employees areas and in a state of just working off instinct as Kenneka was doing it just felt off. But now seeing the restaurant she walked by on her way to the party I can see it may have felt familiar. God bless her family. The death of a child is something no mother should ever have to experience.

Nice job Gray. One thing I want to add is that the guy in the red hat went down the hall, up the escalator then back down the stairs then back down the hall towards the elevators. There is escalator footage available but I'm not sure if for that time frame. Also when you do your video showing all the people around when Kenneka was walking thru the hotel you mention the two cameras that would have shown her entire path according to the hotel didn't work and that the hotel didn't know this till after the fact.

they are motion activated cameras using motion zones setup by the user. yes, there are times where there is not enough movement to setoff the motion and activate the camera. Camera's also have a buffer meaning they always record 10 seconds, which is also set by the user. When motion is detected, it adds that 10 seconds with the recording and then adds 10 seconds at the end. A person might just might vanish if they are too far from the camera after the 10 seconds runs out. This is all fact that I just wrote. you can chose to believe or not believe it but if you go online and look up the vivotek cameras you will see the same thing. have a nice day.

She had regular use levels of topiramate in her system. It's an anti seizure medication. She then was drinking Hennessey from a bottle. Her friends do appear drunk or high. They just didn't have the topiramate levels in their system that when combined with alcohol creates that exact behavior you see kenneka doing.

I just watched 1 minute of a video and it wasn't even the same freezer, in fact I think it wasn't even the same kitchen and the whole time the lady narrating is saying "Look, Look see that, see this." How come at 3:32 we see kenneka get off the elevator, walk around and eventually into the freezer supposedly. But then it's not until 20min later at 3:52 that we see her friends. And we never see them get off the elevator like kenneka did. I see them looking around after she was in the freezer but where were they during her whole walk up until the 20min till we finally seen them but really don't know where they came from bc realistically if they came down from the room, the same elevator camera would pick them up too?

Why was there no camera when she walked into the cooler/ freezer? I'm just curious, due to the fact of employees not working. When I worked restaurant, all I know is the cooler (before the freezer ) would be a common "hang out" place for those hungry over, or just plain lazy! All I know is when a worker wasn't "working" there would be a mad manager /boss coming around the corner..Sounds silly perhaps, but a cooler was often used as a eat a snack, on the clock place, or an argument via bf/gf place, etc. js

I did not read the toxicology report so I do not know what, if anything, was found in Kenneka's blood stream and tissue samples. It seems strange though that Kenneka was so very under the influence of something to the point where she had trouble walking and keeping her balance yet her friends appear relatively normal and sober. I don't know, perhaps she did not drink alcohol a lot or didn't have dinner so she was affected more and more quickly (?) The entire situation is so sad and it is a terrible waste of young life and potential. I feel terrible for her Mom and family.

gday luv been following this case since day 1 here's my problem it's Irenes birthday party so where's the cake and bottles and present also why would the hotel allow a click of urban roughnecks to roam through the hotel why didn't the hotel call the police loud chanting marijuana and a fire occupancy violation why didn't the friends notify the desk she was missing ..before leaving why take the car all quilty.as could be what about the mother not being able to view the body

The mother was allowed to view Kenneka's body, just not touch her. Critical DNA evidence, like touch (skin cells), spit, sperm, urine, trace blood, etc., could have been destroyed. Teresa had to wait until her daughter's body was released to family, to touch her and have her funeral. This is normal, standard, proper procedure.

I'm watching this video and several things bother me about the friends. Number 1..BreBre's movements from she entered the hotel is suspect!! You notice that she was leading them as they all walked into the hotel and through the halls as if she has been in this biggg hotel several times before. Then she wanders off by her self several times and leaves the hotel at leat 2 times before Kenneka disappears. She returns at 03:31, which you didn't have in this video. Then after she returns she is not seen looking for Kennek until 8 minutes after Monifah and Shamaya started looking for Kennek. Where was she and what was she doing all this time? Earlier she had left after 2am with a black female and a black male in black clothing to supposedly pick up some of her friends but she returns about 1 hr and 5 minutes later without the friends she went to bring back to the party and she returns without the 2 people from the party that left with her. She wasn't driving!! Next thing is Kenneka disappears at 0300 or before but they are not seen on video looking for her until at least 52 minutes later at 0352 when Monifah followed by Shamaya and a bunch of people are seen walking through the lobby. STRANGE!! If I'm looking for a friend that I believe got on the elevator to leave, where am I going to look first? The ground floor!! Why weren't they seen on the ground floor until 0352?? Their story don't add up (to me). Was there another room were Monifah and Shamaya and possible other individuals were with Kenneka before she wandered away from them at 0324?? Last but possible most important where is Kenneka's cell phone that they supposedly went bck in the room to get while Kenneka wandered off? All the girls have only one cell phone while looking for Kenneka but supposedly somehow and at sometime or another they gave Teresa Kenneka's cell phone. Did it magically disappear then reappear? Whether or not the girls 1 or 2 or all three were involved lies in the answers to those questions!!

I wish everyone would stop blaming her friends, in the video of them talking ab the situation you can’t tell they are telling the truth. They said they looked for her for hours and eventually assumed she left with a guy or something. They even said that the hotel staff people were weird and suspicious. They claimed before she went missing the security guard was seen everywhere and staff kept having reasons to come to their door to quiet them or some other reasons but after she came up missing there was no staff around suddenly and the security guard was MIA as well! But when they brought this up the person at the front desk they were being short with them and kept walking away. You’d think they would call for security. They also said one of the girls started cussing with the front desk person demanding they see the tape to find her, (which they refused to show) again if they were showing out wouldnt they have called for security? But they didn’t! Where was security at this time??? Also there are other footages where the security guard is seen taking the same route Kennika took through out the basement, right before you get into the kitchen and on his way back through he was seen holding his nose with something in his hand like he had been hit. Now In the video where her friends are talking ab her, they state that she would have puttin up a fight if anyone tried anything so it makes sense. There’s also footage of some of the hotel staff giving her friends her phone & keys! I guess pretending like she left her stuff behind. That’s how her friends ended up with her belongings! In another footage there’s a man in a suit seen walking in and out of the lobby various times, looking around like he’s being secretive about something or on a mission. Her friends claimed they were only smoking weed and drinking and that they didn’t do xans or other party drugs but in her autopsy all that was found in her system was the alcohol and seizure medicine which is also a sedative that if you mix with alcohol wouldve made her incoherent & completely out of it. She had to have been drugged with that pill, she didn’t have seizures or a prescription for them! I don’t think her friends drugged her or that she willingly took the pill to party on. I think the hotel drugged her. Which they could have easily done when staff was in and out of their room before she went missing. And I believe their plan was to steal her organs and sell them (considering the hotel was notorious for doing that) but didn’t go through with it knowing they would have been caught considering how quick the police were involved. They knew it would be obvious to sell the organs of a missing person. The hotel was also down the street from an actual organ selling place so it all adds up and her friends are actually innocent here. I will admit that there was negligence and carelessness. They left her alone for “2 seconds” and she was murdered.
