The kitchen where Kaneeka was found in the freezer was not being used and hadn't been used for some time. Hence, this freezer was empty of food. The hotel had leased the space to another company. Freezer should have been turned off and not working during this time.

DiDi a lot of people advise against turning off a walk-in freezer/cooler because it can mess up the compressor, and it may or may not start working properly when you try to turn it on again. They usually say to just turn up the temperature a bit and keep it running

Her drink was laced she was so out of it she couldn't even find nobody's door to knock on! Seems like she was in the basement where no rooms were!! You can tell the way she was staggering that, that was more than a alcohol drunk!! They knew what type of whatever it is they laced that drink with would do to her brain to where as she couldn't function properly. So they led her right down to the kitchen and left her there to be victimized! It was a setup. They made sure she wasn't near anyone's room or had access of getting there to get help!

When I was in college, I’m pretty sure I was drugged by having something slipped into my drink. I had one beer, and after only drinking that one beer.. it felt like I was in a fun house. My memory of that night isn’t the best, but I do remember walking was incredibly difficult. It felt like the floor was rocking, and I was super disoriented. Very different feeling than just being drunk. Watching her walk through the halls reminds me of how I felt. There’s no way she was just drunk. She was drugged with something imo. It’s so frustrating because somebody should have been there to help her. I was lucky enough to have a friend who saw I was in trouble that night, it’s just awful that she didn’t. This should have never happened. RIP KJ

I just watched a documentary on this. A staff member (unattended by police) was helping search for her. Found her in the freezer and before even calling the coroner, the police deemed it accidental. They didnt tape it off, they didnt wear proper attire as if it was a crime scene. They didnt take photos, fingerprint, nothing. They deemed it accidental but told her mom not to touch her because it's still a crime scene,then after saying that proceeded to hand her mom a few of her belongings. If she cant kiss her daughter goodbye because it's a crime scene why could the cops give her a hair tie, and belly button ring?

I never knew that she was in another kitchen. I thought the first kitchen was the kitchen she was found in. It seems very difficult to get from that elevator to the freezer inside the cooler...in a drunken wondering state. No one would be able to find that freezer even if you weren't drunk and had directions. So either she was led by demonic spirits to the most secluded place in the entire hotel, or someone who knows the hotel...guided her there and those camera shots of that person were not given to the police or media. She was found in a freezer, that was in a cooler, that was in a closed kitchen, blocked off by a temporary wooden wall and door, through a door, up some stairs, through a door, in the regular kitchen, through some doors, in the hallway, in and out the men's bathroom, tripping over the stairs railing, in the hallway, through the doors, in the regular kitchen the first time, through the doors, down the hallway, down another hallway, down a ramp, to the elevator.....AND SHE WASN'T SEEN BY ANOTHER HUMAN BEING THE ENTIRE TIME????

As a nurse and reading her autopsy report the non street drugs she was on (one being a anti-epileptic/mood stabilizer) mixed with alcohol will make someone who is not use to the medication very unstable and confused. Very sad case. Regardless of what happened murder/or accident this medication was the catalyst. Also when u are experiencing hyperthermia, u will start feeling really hot and it’s common to start trying to remove clothing. It’s painful to see how confused this medication was making her. Messing up her spatial awareness.(the capacity to understand and remember the spatial relations among objects like walls,doors.etc) I also wonder if she was experiencing Depersonalization-derealization. My heart breaks for her.

How could she feel hyperthermia if she was inside a freezer? (Legit question)
@m1xyblue2 жыл бұрын
@@jupiterthunderstorm alcohol lowers your body temperature, but makes you feel hot. You start to sweat when drinking and feel warm, but it’s your body’s way of trying to adjust the sudden drop in body temp and change in blood pressure. Alcohol is a blood thinner, so your metabolism is higher (causing the sweating) because you’re pumping more blood. But when your veins open up, you’re taking in more oxygen which is why your body temperature actually drops when you drink.

No offense to anyone but if I was the owner of the hotel and knew their were people having a 21st birthday party for a girl I would have had employees monitoring it to make sure it didn’t get out of hand. I live in N.C. and if a bartender is serving someone drinks they are supposed to stop serving someone when they can tell they are drunk. I don’t know if they had a bar there or if they brought their own alcohol but in my state the bartender could have been held liable for her death just like they can if someone leaves the bar drunk and drives and hits someone and kills them. It’s just a thought, but like I said I don’t know if there was a bartender or if they brought their own alcohol...

I remember when this first happened. It haunted me day and night to the point I could not sleep and was weeping for her constantly... Because at one point, I was her. The story never set right with me and still doesn’t. My heart was broken and still is. Foul play, no doubt! A life taken too early, wickedly and without true resolution. No justice and unfairly.

Dreamweaver her “friends” didn’t even go in any double doors to look for her. If they would’ve they probably would’ve ended up finding her. All they had to do was walk thru literally one of the 4 double doors to the kitchen. If it was my friend i would’ve asked every damn person there & i would’ve walked right thru any double door or any door that was open. I feel like fbi should’ve gotten fingerprints off the freezer door and everything. But it was a cop that was security probably so that’s why they covered it up for him.

The independent autopsy that her mother ordered also reported that Kenneka was intoxicated (technically different that drunk) due to the effect of combining alcohol with the epilepsy/migraine medicine. My family owned a bar for many years and I can assure you that intoxicated/drunk people walk like this...as if hypnotized, wobbly, and leaning against the walls at times. They often climb stairs (holding on to rails or crawling), drive cars, have sex/eat, and even walk for longer than Kenneka's 9 minutes from elevator to freezer. Some even blackout and do housework. Did you see Gray's motion video played in sync? It helped me understand how it happened. :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJ7VlZWcqquteKs

This is the silliest comment I keep seeing. The door can be opened by someone disoriented, drunk, intoxicated. My friend owned a sub shop. We would go there and make food on our way home from drinking and opened the same freezer door all the time very, very drunk. We were both 5’0 and 105 pounds at the time, actually she weighed 95 lbs. I don’t understand why some people are so silly. These doors are not that difficult to open, this is just an excuse a very far fetched stretch for an excuse for more to this story. Girl, if these doors are hard for you to open, I suggest you get to the gym!
@jillmarie42405 жыл бұрын
I beg to differ those doors are not all heavy. I worked at a high school cafeteria for over 4 years and those doors open very easily. No strength needed at all. The one thing i can say is my opinion at least ours did the inside handle should glow and it should have a push sign as ours did. That would be a lawsuit for family wouldnt you think. Even for the hotel having open access like that to wonder anywhere. I meam it was a crowne plaza. Not a fricke super 8 good god This is all very very sad. I dont evem know what to believe

That’s the reason why her friends weren’t with her because they went back to the room to get back her phone a wallet and key but instead of taking her with them they had her stay at the evaluator until they come back. Then they go back to the elevator and saw that she was gone.

I’m on similar meds and I’ve drunk one time and literally almost passed out luckily I was around friends and family, I’ve also worked as a server/bartender and those doors are hard to open if you’ve never been in them, they have emergency exits but if you’re not in your right mind you’ll miss it.
