Side note: my only problem with the sail barge is that there no way for Jabba to get his big ass in it. Seen the movie countless times. Can’t figure out the math lol

Great overview of all the details on this. One detail you may be interested in... The microphone on the dais can be pulled up so Jabba or C-3PO can hold it. There is a 'cord' that connects it to the dais, but just FYI. Very cool piece.

Selling toys to make money back for yourself is not weird at all. It's a smart move. Nowadays, all exclusive or limited edition items sell out and will be resold by either you or the other guy that will get it. The way you explained it so you just paid $200 for this, that's fantastic. That's how I started collecting. Buying lots, keeping what I needed and sell the rest.

The hardcore base have one, the truly hardcore have stored a couple, but financial changes and the lessening of hype will mean there will always be at least one on eBay at any one time. A head up. I know you said you intend to display your barge with the panels on, but I have a cool tip for you. The interior of the barge can be pretty dim in the recesses if you have lighting issues like I do. So I wired mine up with lights inside. Wal Mart sells a product called battery powered string lights. Its $4 in the lamp area at wal mart, and made by mainstays, the wal mart brand. With one of these, and some double sides sticky pads I was able to weave the 6 foot cord through the ceiling of the barge, and tuck the lights away out of sight from most angles. $10 and 30 minutes was all it took me. Aside from the time I invested to modify and paint the control box ( which is just solid black ) This I easily tucked away into the back ( and it now looks like a generic pierce of tech. )

@@TalkerArt Its really worth it. The effect enhances everything nicely, even the figures inside, and you can see the wall details, the wood grain in the kitchen, so much better. I wish I had taken the time to make a video of the process, and I still may. I want everybody the have this feature in their barge, and it was so easy honestly anybody can for $10

Hasbro promised to all crowdfunders in writing that they would not put it back out, as this was a HasLab exclusive, much like the SDCC DeathStar and Freezing Chamber figure sets. If they do, later though, if, I’m sure it’ll be just as expensive but may not come with the exclusive Yak-Face or Book. Might come with Jabba but maybe not. Anyway, very cool video, great review, and can’t wait to put mine together.

Its a beauty man it really is an iconic piece that will be sought after for years to come unless hasbro gets greedy and produces more , i was into 6 inch SW figures hard for 3 years and I decided to move on from that collection cuz the 3 3/4 scale is the gold standard for SW the 6 inch doesn’t come close all the accessories you get with that line is crazy and especially with the cardbacks there doing now looks so cool love the art on them things

Talker that's an impressive Sail Barge man!!!! Hasbro is grabbing at straws with the Star Wars IP and toys since the line is almost non existent now! Nothing left to make since the Star Wars universe is going to shit now!!! That's an impressive toy with all that detail and hard work they put into that, to bad they can't do that for the regular collectors who probably would have bought one if it was mass produced! Guess the Star Wars line will be for the elite from now on!!! Wish they would make a Millennium Falcon that's on scale with that Barge man that thing would be like 6 or 7 feet long and huge on the inside! It would make the 2.5 foot one look dinky!!!! I have all the vintage original toys from the 1977-85 Kenner line from my childhood! If you want to get rid of those skiffs when the new ones come out I'll take them off your hands! This video was excellent and extremely detailed you covered everything man I feel like I own one except well......I don't cause I'm poor lol!!! Those monster heads all over that barge are the same ones from the front of Jabba's Dais from the vintage Return of the Jedi Kenner playset! Wow it looks great.that was a great move by hasbro with the Yak face. A online action figurer dealer got some after taxes an shipping flogged them for $800 in the uk. I found out about it too late. Some joker on eBay wants $2400 plus shipping. Remember in the 3.75 line, Slave Liea came with the canon which she aimed at the barge in the movie, if you have that does that fit into this?
