Jabba's Sail Barge "The Khetanna" Unboxing

On March 6, 2019, I was fortunate to be one of the first to receive the Jabba's Sail Barge "The Khetanna" by Hasbro's HasLab. Enjoy this unboxing of the largest Star Wars vehicle in 3 ¾" scale offered by Hasbro.

Oops. Ha ha. Thanks all for the correction on the sails. Maybe the Khetanna turned its sails around to make a quick getaway to not be involved with Boba Fett’s pathetic death scene.

I’d love to own one, but two problems: 1- I don’t have the space at the moment. And more importantly 2- my wife would kill me if I shelled out that much for something like that. Otherwise, it’s a very stunning masterpiece of a vehicle/ playset.

Congrats on being the first Toob unboxing video and you did a GREAT professional job in the process .... a true joy to watch ! As we Aussies gaze longingly at these Barges like poor kids through a shop window at Xmas time ... sigh ! PS - I think the top sails need to be reversed (should slope upwards, front to back) ... an easy mistake made during the excitement of putting that baby together ! ;o)

I used to collect Star Wars toys when i was a kid. Seeing this beauty reminds me the toys once were a higher quality than the crap Hasbro makes today. If that set would've come 25 years earlier i'd bought it. Nice set, nice vid 👍🏻

A head up. I know you said you intend to display your barge with the panels on, but I have a cool tip for you. The interior of the barge can be pretty dim in the recesses if you have lighting issues like I do. So I wired mine up with lights inside. Wal Mart sells a product called battery powered string lights. Its $4 in the lamp area at wal mart, and made by mainstays, the wal mart brand. With one of these, and some double sides sticky pads I was able to weave the 6 foot cord through the ceiling of the barge, and tuck the lights away out of sight from most angles. $10 and 30 minutes was all it took me. Aside from the time I invested to modify and paint the control box ( which is just solid black ) This I easily tucked away into the back ( and it now looks like a generic pierce of tech. )

Rogue Comics Awesome recommendation. I saw some people used button lights which are battery operated without wiring. And I’ve seen some people use the small wired LED lights. I’m still deciding which direction to go, but I’m definitely going to light this baby up.

Robd collector Since they based the cost on crowd funding, they set the price at $500 for the minimum 5,000 made. If they determined the minimum made would be 10,000 pieces, they may have lowered the cost based on a higher manufacturing amount.
