Glad I watched your video Victoria, I've been collecting since 95' myself, modern anyhow (collected a few Vintage Kenner figures as a kid before POTF2 hit). Great video and good info. I wish the rear sail pole was placed back further so the large turret cannon could do a full 180 turn. Also for the price it should have come with at least interior lights and sounds. The Legacy Falcon, Turbo Tank, and VC ESB And ROTJ At-At cost far less, and all 3 came with lights and sounds. Fantastic! unfortunately I did not back the project monetarily, though I did back it in spirit. It was a bit too big for me, and it wasnt a vehicle I was very passionate about owning. If they had done a true scaled Imperial shuttle or Darth Maul's Scimitar I would have been all over that, but im so glad to see that their inaugural haslab campaigned worked out as well as it did. It may be a while till it cycles around to Star Wars 3.75" project again, but im excited to see what they offer next. 22:18 how in the world would Ephant Mon have gotten himself down there???....Oh well now that I think it out loud, its probably the same way jabba did!

Awesome review!! It's a gorgeous piece. I'm hoping to add one to my collection. I've been collecting (Xmas and birthday presents) since 1977 when I was 4 years old. The last ship I got for Xmas was the Emperial Shuttle. In 1985, I believe. I did however, pick up figures here and there since then. Although I now keep them unopened. Wish I had back then, but then again, I played with them all the time, but never destroyed them. I should actually dig the figures, ships, playsets, and Death Star out and put them back together if possible, fix whatever has broken and make some scenes and display my collection. Thanks again for this amazing video and the review and take me back when I was a kid being drug by my leg into the Sarlacc pit amd the only person who could save me was Princess Leia in the golden bikini, I mean a blind Han Solo..
@roguecomics47755 жыл бұрын
A head up. I know you said you intend to display your barge with the panels on, but I have a cool tip for you. The interior of the barge can be pretty dim in the recesses if you have lighting issues like I do. So I wired mine up with lights inside. Wal Mart sells a product called battery powered string lights. Its $4 in the lamp area at wal mart, and made by mainstays, the wal mart brand. With one of these, and some double sides sticky pads I was able to weave the 6 foot cord through the ceiling of the barge, and tuck the lights away out of sight from most angles. $10 and 30 minutes was all it took me. Aside from the time I invested to modify and paint the control box ( which is just solid black ) This I easily tucked away into the back ( and it now looks like a generic pierce of tech. )

There have been a few. The more recent ones were in The Legacy Collection (the best one) and The Vintage Collection (still a great one). Given the price they go for, however, probably your best option is to spend the extra cash on the multipack from The Black Series that came with Jabba, the Rancor, and a few really solid action figures.

Good job as always on the review. I'm actually surprised Hasbro managed to deliver this colossus on time with a minimum of problems. The grayish paint scheme does look movie accurate, but I've grown to like how the barge is usually painted in all the media and reference sources that have come out afterwards (in a reddish brown rust tone) so I can't help but feel disappointed in the exterior paint scheme here. Just compare pics of the prototype or even the exterior of that box to the final product to see what I'm talking about. The grey colour of the final piece makes it almost look like an Imperial vehicle. As an aside, one wonders why Jabba didn't go whole hog and paint it in some gaudy bright colours to let everyone know he was in town.

Are you going to have a couple of skiff's alongside the Barge? Like two or three was it as they were trying to kill Luke Han and Chewie?
@VictoriasCantina5 жыл бұрын
There were two in the movie. I will indeed be getting a couple of them, but since I didn't know they would be coming out, I didn't plan on buying a shelf bigger than the one I got to accommodate the barge. So any skiffs would have to be displayed apart from it.
