Ok! I made this with a few modifications for our house! It was easy and it turned out great! I had peaches in juice not heavy syrup. So I added a half cup of sugar, cooked them on the stove to thicken the syrup with the cinnamon. Added the vanilla and a pinch of salt to the cooked peaches after they were done. I used two cans of peaches. Melted the butter like you said. I made the batter with a cup and a half of flour because I like the dough. I just used one cup sugar. One cup milk and one egg. My batter wasn’t as thin as yours and I had to add extra milk to make it kind of like pancake batter. I spooned the peaches onto the top of the batter and then poured the peach, cinnamon, sugar syrup over the top. Baked 350 for 35 minutes. 9x13 metal pan. This is nothing like my grandma’s cobbler but it is real good! It was crunchy and chewy and not really gooey, but very good! We didn’t have ice cream! Fooey!

I am making a peach cobbler at the moment and decided to watch this video as it is in the oven. Thank you for sharing. I’m making it for my stepson and my husband. I knew how to make the peach dump cake with the cake mix but I had no family members to ask about how to make the topping for a peach cobbler like this. Thank you so very much.

Quess what I did your recipe. It was so delicious. It was so good that I did not bothered to freeze the cobbler. It was gone in three days. Thank you for your channel. It is so helpful and you do not take forever to prepare the meal. Plus ingredients are something you have in your home. Keep pushing those videos. I know your family is proud of you.

@@KenClick: Well, it tasted very good, but it didn't look like yours. I followed the instructions to the "t" but there was no crisp crust like yours showed. The crust is more like bread pudding. I even baked it past the 50 minutes, but had to stop because the bottom of the glass pan was getting scorched. So, I'm thinking less syrup, pour the peaches first then the flour mixture. Guess I gotta keep experimenting with it until it comes out right.
@KenClick2 жыл бұрын
@@pelucitadered If it didn't turn out like mine then you did something different. My best guess is that you used AP flour instead of what is called for in the video, self-rising flour. Try it with self-rising flour.
@pelucitadered2 жыл бұрын
Ken Click: Went to look to see if it was AP. Sure enough, it was. If I make this cobbler again, I'll try the self-rising flour. Hope it'll makes a difference. Thanx.

I love this recipe its so easy to make and I love peach cobbler plus I started using self rising flour as well its easy and better then to do all the steps you have to use when using regular flour you have to shifted it then add salt and baking powder too much to do for any dishes even for making cakes
