I was not prepared for the feels that confronted me from this fine record. it’s an acoustic Kenny Burrell, with a backing team of John Heard on the bass guitar, Roy McCurdy on drums and Kenneth Nash on Percussion. Kenny Burrell and an upright bass bloom the melody, and everything falls into place. Burrell has such a beautiful soft tone on this one. The album has beautiful bossas that are cohesively comforting and dazzling. I recommend this album if you’re into jazz guitar.

I sympathize with the good Capt. Waffles' sentiment. I've heard a lot of renditions of "Stolen Moments" and this is easily the most magical midnight moonlit take.

@@lazyeight01 the song is "night" from his first *ever* album "vibes no 1". vibes 1 is only available on bandcamp, so that's why only real ones know. i have the album on my local files so i can listen to it on spotify. quick question are you a whosampled moderator?
