Glad to see someone pushing the classical guitar out of the traditional box. By the way Grit Laskin was the first luthier to use both the sound ports and the tapered arm rest, and Linda Manzer - who is also from Toronto Canada - both former apprentices of Jean Larrivee was the first to do the tapered body.

Very nice. I don't know about the strap & "wedge," but it would be nice to see the arm rest "trickle down" to the New World Player model.

This stand up guitar designed is a unconventional way to hold the classical guitar, I love the stand up way.

I like to play classical standing with the strap quite a bit, definitely agree it is easier on the body/back, it is good to do during gigs, allows you to move around, just feels good to do!

@@edkawalec3360 I totally agree with you. I used to hold the guitar whatever was comfortable as long as it produced the sounds I wanted. Lately, however, it causes pain in my left shoulder and lower back... being a 60+ person.

Please do a New World factory version of this. I can't do 8 grand for a handmade instrument any time soon but I'd snap up a factory version in a second.

Hi Bobby, While you wouldn't be able to get all of the features that and Ergonomic offers, the Player Series Fingerstyle and the Cutaway versions can satisfy some of your needs, particularly the Barbera pickup and soundports. Give us a call if you want to explore. Chuck Marfione: All Strings Nylon

Are those guitars to our right, your left, in direct sunlight for hours all day every day?

Are you the same Kenny Hill who did the sculptures in Chauvin LA? God bless you all in Jesus name :-)
