I respect that!! You know when my mother died, I was 14 yrs old, it was my 1st day of high school. She went to work at a frozen food plant and I went to my first day of high school 9th grade. I came home she didn’t. The ammonia line broke (they clean the vegetables with it) she was close to the line. Her lungs collapsed and she had a massive hart attack. Well after that grown women would tell me gossip of m father. I was so distraught sadden, got more depressed, I didn’t want to be her anymore.. I tried but didn’t succeed. Why because the true friend of my parents said the magic word to. We love you and we are for you and you can stay here as long as you want. But my relationship with my father changed. I felt like both my parents died. It took me years to get over the emotional damage they caused. But when my father got sick I came home to help care for him till the day he died. I LOVE MY FATHER. But it took GOD and lots of love from my father. I’m so glad I got to spend 10 yrs caring for my father. It healed use both. Sorry, forgive me, are very powerful loving words. And can change a persons life. But leaves kids out of grown business. Your words can kill a child’s spirit.

It's so crazy that Kenny talks about Maxwell. I remember when people used to compare Maxwell to D'Angelo and I used to disagree with them all the time. If there was EVER a man who could match and sometimes even exceed the smoothness of Maxwell at the time it was this man, Kenny Lattimore. His first album was a gem and the song "For You" is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. The lyrics were pure perfection along with Kenny's vocals. A man like Kenny, who has always had a deep sense of "biblical" faith, I know going through that divorce really hurt him. He wanted it to be for keeps. I always thought that Kenny was the man Chanté needed but not the one she wanted because he wasn't the bad boy, my tool is bigger than yours type. He was always well dressed, well spoken, and well behaved then and still is now. I feel that women find men like this to be boring and that is a real shame.

I think that was kenny's problem both in the industry AND with his marriage..... he didn't have any edge kenny's first single was about making time for your significant other ( never too busy ) maxwell's first single was about straight sex ( til the cops come knockin ) I mean maxwell wasn't exactly a roughneck himself but he came off as the fly pretty boy from brooklyn who got all the girls while kenny came off like a choir director lol and as for his marriage who knows but I wouldn't be surprised if he did bore her half to death

When you love God, all things work for your good. We sometimes put ourselves with people but God didn't. It also shows that it not the man all the time. There are some women out there who are much worse than any man. Just because you have a pretty face does not mean you have that on the inside. If the heart is ugly to me that person's outside is also. Also you reap what you sow. If you don't believe anything else, you can believe that. I'm so proud of Kenny for choosing his battle because some are not even worth the fight. If you allow a person enough rope, they will hang themselves.
