The truth is all three QB’s have been less then good. Pickett is the best they have. Mitch and Rudy have been bad. Pickett has thrown TD’s on goal line but he is at 57 precent completion rate with about three that should have been interceptions. The coaches and GM’s are rating Pickett as a fourth tier QB around 24th in the NFL. All are saying he will improve but the sample size of his work is not enough. Most say he is not close to a QB who can win with his arm and will be as good as his running game and defense can make him. Most never see him as more the a third tier QB somewhere between 15th to 18th best QB. They say while he has a few good traits Pickett lacks the arm of the good QB’s. While he can win games the team needs to make the playoffs. Win in the playoffs and it is were they don’t believe Pickett can compete with the top tier QB’s.
