Don't let the haters influence your eyes. When Pickett is comfortable, he can be deadly accurate. He threw 42 touchdowns his Sr year at Pitt. Canada didn't help him or anyone, so he's getting confidence and looks to be over his sophomore slump. He throws the deep ball as good as anyone. Over 15 yards he's golden. It's the short game where he misfires most. Weird. Go Steelers!

Kenny obviously has some talent. He plays smart and would rather just throw it to the sideline than to the other team. He started midway through last season so he just hit one full year as qb1 and with Matt getting the boot I think now we’re going to find out how good he is. With a defense like this we don’t need him to be Tom Brady to go get a 7th 🏆

These QB analyses sure cause me, the layman, to appreciate what a sophisticated game this is. Then, of course, it helps to have a little athleticism and skill to make the scheme come together. Making a defense operate ain’t no walk in the park, either. This is not the environment for dumb jocks.

Really appreciate the breakdown chase. I’ve thought to me Kenny from last year looked to me to have a higher cieling that originally thought but didn’t know the floor. Still don’t but do think he has upside and good arm strength mobility etc. a lot of the things u want in a 2023 QB tbh

people been really underestimating Kenny as well as the Steelers. now that we hot an OC that build plays ontop each other, using run to set up the pass abd vice versa. NO 3 and outs with wat, 37min TOP ?!@# we rollin!

Matt Canada didn't trust him enough. For a while we had maybe 2 throws over the middle for 15 plus yards. In one game we had 3 of them

The receiver that caught the Ted that got called incomplete caught the ball, took a couple of steps, then lost the ball when he hit the ground. A lot of times, it would have been called a touchdown.

It's hilarious how people who have NEVER even played football on any serious level think they can immediately write off a QB as trash. Not every QB finds their groove right out of college. Sometimes it takes a few years, some changes or learning some new tricks until they hit their stride in the NFL. Kenny may not be throwing for a bunch of yards and TDs, but he also hasn't been throwing a bunch of picks and making huge mistakes. He has been managing the games enough to get wins even with a terrible OC and now showed immediate improvement with that OC gone. Give the guy some time to grow as a player for fucks sake.

Kenny is the biggest enigma for me... one play he escapes pressure and drops a dime, the next, clean pocket, open receiver, he airmails it... he has the tools to be really good. Just needs the consistency.
