@Robert_alea Idont know of any issues with being strapped in a Minnesota State Park as long as you're leagly able to carry it. So either cancel it or have a carry permit. I don't have any issues with people carrying, especially in the woods.

I definitely have to think about a merchandise line. I have a few ideas. I just don't want to have the same stuff as everyone else. We have a lot of resorts in my area. I notice in their gift shops that they all have custom hats, hoodies, shirts, and mugs that look super nice. It's actually embroidered logos, not screen prints that fall apart in the wash. Their mugs are quality... not a basic 2 dollar mass-produced coffee cup with a logo that resembles so many other channels because everyone uses the same 3 or 4 merchandise companies on KZbin. I'll get something going eventually. I just don't want to jump on Vista Print and get a merchandise lineup for the sake of selling stuff. Maybe by this fall, I will have a custom embroidered wool beanie your husband can pick up.

Yay that you and Mandy are getting a weekend together. You do earn those checks. If people want to contribute to the channel you should let them. You provide a valuable form of entertainment. Many KZbinrs use Patreon or the have their own webpage that people can pay through. Another option do hats and t-shirts, and mugs with your catch phrase, that you say at the end of every video. To make it easier to manage have two weeks of pre orders and then you order just what has been prepaid for and you can have packing and shipping the items be a video. Get family to help. You could do orders once a year. Twice a year or quarterly. Maybe have Toby or the truck and camper image on it too.

What a great place to camp, I can't believe you hadn't been there. Thanks for picking up the trash. That bike moves right along, I think you need to make a Toby sidecar. I agree, Its good to know what others don't know you know, before they know you know it, including Bears, Moose, crazy raccoons and that night owl that nestles in between the camper and truck. I have done that too with the tackle box, now I keep a mini box with about 6 hooks, 6 split shots, 1 bobber, two flies, two crawdad jigs and 1 six foot leader I keep my truck back seats folded up and I just dropped it between the folded up bottom and top. Least you didn't forget the Coffee that would have been disastrous. Toby would of been good for one more night LOL. Thanks again for the ride along.

I am going to have to do the same thing. I could keep a small taco box just with the basics. It wouldn't take up any space at all. I'm really surprised I hadn't found that site earlier. Last summer, I WA' boat landing about a mile from there on lake.Winnie at a dam that had a single dispersed campsite. The year before that I was up on lower pigeon at that dispersed camp site. It just goes to show.There are so many places for recreation up there.

Kenny, I enjoyed your outing last week and am currently enjoying your newest one. Your woods and campsites are a lot like ours in Penna.We have lived in Montana since 1988 and we didn't camp in Penna when we lived there.All us boys, there were 5 of us then, were always in the woods or fishing the lakes or streams. Or hunting. my wife and I, Pick, yeah that's her name, (Nick name but she only answers to that) love camping, but she's not one to sit and watch videos of them like I am. One evening, while watching one of your videos about 2 or 3 months ago I yelled, "Pick, come in here and watch Kenny for a minute".She walked into the bedroom and asked"what?" I said "watch Kenny for a minute".. I forget whet you were exclaiming about , but you came out with one of your, "Holy Buckets..!!" She Laughed.. You and her are the only two people I, or our friends and family have ever heard use that saying. She does it all the time. We both had a good laugh at that. July the 1st, Pick and I will have been married for 52 years and together for 53.. Not too bad for a couple of kids from the woods and hills of Pennsylvania.. Stay safe and take care...Good Camping.. I'm keeping it open for Toby right now. I adopted him a few months back, i'm working with him to get over his fear of the dark. I leave the door open so he can come and go as he pleases. Soon, we will have a hatch, and the mosquitoes swarms will block the sunlight. Then the door will be closed for sure.

That is a good idea! I know a lot of people comment that I must have money running around in my expensive new camper. But it's over 20 years old, and I paid 6 grand for it. Talking about what to look for in a used camper is a good idea.

Hi Kenny, great video, always like the way you "show" yourself outside. I can see why you enjoyed the beginning of your stay in silence, what a beautiful spot to do some self reflection. I watch all your videos, but your audience has grown so much with many, many comments, I figure you barely have time to read them all and I know you do. That's an awesome area. I've done some fishing and camping off that road. You're not far from the old German POW camp. An old local I know has cool stories from the area.

I had no clue!!!! Now i've got some research to do! I've heard about the german POW camps. PBS used to make awesome documentaries about the history of our state... but I haven't seen those kinds of programs for the last 15 to 20 years.

Ooooh, that opening…capturing the sun like that…gorgeous, way cool, one of those moments. Side Note: review videos done by someone with your caliber, to me at least, is trustworthy and a real help. I may not go camping, but much of this stuff is helpful for times when, say, the power goes out. Annnnd, looks like I’ll be following another of your recipes. That split pea soup looked DIVINE!
