Great to see the two Kenny's,they are my favorite racing legends and I love to listen to their take on everything racing,and if I had the chance I would want to shake their hands and tell e'm how cool it was to grow up watching them race,and in them days it was hard to get driver interviews for lack of communication in the early days,But their making up for it now,You Go Guy's! In one interview Kyle said that he told his son Owen that once he could run two classes (restricted A & junior sprint) at the shootout Kyle would come and race with him. So that is some of the motivation for Kyle being there as well.

Schrader signed my hat at magnolia speedway in Columbus Ms when i was a kid and I'll never forget his car had mufflers on it (or at least it was way quieter than the rest) and it blew my mind he ran in first and second all night but I learnt a valuable lesson. Louder doesn't mean faster

NASCAR introduced the idea of an extremely small track for the Clash with LA Colosseum. I think the Jedi mind tricked the public into accepting BG before they even ran there.

I truely believe that Larson ran the Shootout because Owen wanted to go so bad. He said he wasn't sitting in Tulsa for a week with Owen until Owen was old enough to run more than the Jr Sprint (1 class, Owen also ran restricted). We got lucky Kyle didnt want to sit around all week and jumped in a cars.

He’s said that in a few different interviews that they waited until Owen was racing two classes. His daughter is racing too, so there should be a good bunch of years of him racing the shootout.

I think nascar is a sh!t show these days & I hope nascar loses. I absolutely despise what nascar turned into. Actually, I don't give 2 F's what happens cuz I just don't care. I'm a Flo subscriber & dirt fan thru & thru. I'll never watch another cup/busch/truck race in my life so... I will watch some CARS Tour / LM pavement races sometimes tho even tho they are sometimes nascar affiliated.
