Love it! Definitely should do a part 2 covering some of the neighborhoods you missed, like the Milk District, Mills50/Colonialtown, Eola Heights, Ivanhoe Village, Audubon Park and SoDo :)

Just came across this channel and WHOA! I was on the fence about whether or not I wanted to stay in FL (moved here two years ago), but after watching all of your videos, I’m convinced… I can bloom here. I’m in Oakland, FL, right up the road from you all. Planning to buy a home next year summer… I’ll definitely be reaching out to you all. Also, your new office looks cool. Need a creative writer/graphic designer? 😂

Great video as usual. Thanks for the information. I'm not familiar with College Park, will put in my list for a visit. I just drove through Baldwin Park today while taking my son to his friend's home. I saw so many beautiful streets and homes. Probably, worth to add to your 'cool' list.

This is a great overview. Also, I am living for Ken’s undying love for Foxtail Coffee and his never ending quest to get sponsored m. It reminds me of John Oliver thirsting after Adam Driver. One day they’re going to crash one of his videos and just be like wth are you doing Ken.

thornton park, specifically just east of it Lake Lawsona is great. Everything is so easy to get to. You can walk to Lake Eola in 12 minutes. But after being here almost a month I've noticed one major problem...... that people should be aware of.....

Hi, my wife and I are visiting Orlando next week with the goal of moving there over the next year. We would like to scope out some neighborhoods but don’t want to waste any time exploring neighborhoods we won’t be able to afford to live in. So I was wondering if anybody can recommend any neighborhoods that might suit the budget of around $2,200 per month for rent. Thanks!!

"A lot of people are tearing down those homes, specially the ones that need rehab, and construct million dollar homes" How sad. What is wrong with rehab?? Around here they just want everything to look the same. I moved from Boston, MA to Tampa, FL over a year ago and I miss the charm, beautiful architecture and character of the houses in the Boston and Cambridge, MA area. The house designs in Central FL are so boring. They all look the same. Basically is: cut off all the surrounding trees, plow everything near and build a house that resembles a HomePod. How creative. Most places, not all, are like that because that's what people here worship. No originality, no character. Sad.
@kenpozek
@kenpozek Жыл бұрын
Yeah I hear that. Unfortunately man of the houses that are built in the 50-70s are 1100 sqft 2 bedrooms with old windows, framing, and everything. Spending 200k on rehabbing something that small (at least here) rarely makes any financial sense. I did just buy a 2500 sqft home on a 1/3 acre lot, built in the 50s, that we’re rehabbing. But the location can sustain such a rehab.

Orlando cool??? Yeah ok. I mean if you like unaffordable home prices, out of control rent, nasty people, dirty roads( go check OBT or 17/192), minimum income, crappy jobs, extreme road rage, weirdos, and overpopulated then yeah sure hage fun in Orlando. Moved out years ago, best moved I ever made.
