Weirdly enough, although Hisagi was beaten here, his Bankai is one of the most broken in Bleach. Had he just activated it he could've won.

If Kensei knew to kill James he would have won and if rose didn’t say his Bankai uses music he also would have won(they didn’t use their hollow masks because it’s to hard to use both bankai and hollow masks at the same time)

it wouldn't matter cause Rose, in his mind, thought he won as he didn't expect SOMEONE to bust their eardrums like that. To be fair, he actually won and didn't matter if he talked or not, it's just both Mask and James are broken. James will always be alive so long as Mask is. And also, Kubo confirmed in the Q&A that, James is the real one not Mask which makes it ALMOST impossible to kill either one. You'd have to kill Mask in one powerful attack, or just having to separate the two and fight Mask in a different location. And THANK YOU, finally someone who knows that it is hard to use both Hollow mask AND Bankai at the same as Kensei told Mashiro that fighting someone as strong or even stronger than them would reduce the time of their Hollow mask

Kensei is such a fumny character to me. He has a cool design and talks like a badass yet he is the biggest jobber in Bleach, even more so than Renji. Not only that, his Bankai is among the worst on the same level as Ikakku and pretty much useless and its even worse than his Shikai. 😂

@@vashythewabbit8288 none of the normal captains could easily break through blut vene from a captain level quincy even with bankai. Soi Fon’s bankai has the greatest damaging effect due to its nature, but apart from her bankai, only very few could break through blut. Even Komamura’s couldn’t cut through Bambi and had to use her own powers to defeat her. Kensei’s attacks were far more lethal than Mask’s but while Mask has a pretty tough armor on him, Kensei is bare and Kensei’s own bankai hitting him directly would do a lot more damage than what Mask’s attacks did to him so against another captain with no armor, getting hit by Kensei’s bankai is something they can’t allow to happen. It has mid range aoe and is a cqc beast so attacking him carelessly might cost a captain level fighter their life. Only the RP trained crew could directly take on the quincy and straight up cut through blut like nothing…. Well, them and Kenpachi, and Shunsui has durability negation with his zanpakuto. Toshiro’s zanpakuto in particular was abnormally powerful as well as you can see that his skills and abilities fell horribly short to the quincies. Shunsui had favorable matchups and would’ve actually lost to Robert had Robert decided to obliterate him but he only used vollständig for a second to gain an advantage and reverted to base as they were more focused on ensuring that the shinigami’s bankais got stolen to quickly handicap their fighting ability.

not true as James is the real Quincy and so long as Mask is around, James will be too. Which is why James can never die unless you are Renji or a big blast that can one shot him. Mask actually lost to Hisagi, Ikkaku, and Yumichika. But due to James giving him power/healing him, he won. Same here, Kensei AND Rose won, but because Mask knew James is around, Mask decided to bust his eardrums which is a crazy thing to do and won against Rose that a normal person would lose against

When Rose used his Bankai which you can check in my video I uploaded, Mask took advantage of this one second of when Rose was caught off guard by Mask destroying his own eardrums which allowed Mask to avoid Rose's Bankai more less and he shot Rose. If Kensei used the Hollow mask, Mask would probably take advantage of this chance and attack Kensei while activating the Hollow mask.

Ngl this episode really threw me off from enjoying TYBW for an episode or two. Kensei hopping in saying Hisagi shouldn't have lost and then he loses to that same opponent is honestly just soo embarrassing especially considering he's one of my favorite Vizords for the fact aline he uses fists. Like at this point I'm willing to believe Kubo absolutely hates the Vizords. Really hoping he makes some changes in Cour 3

the only reason all of them lost is because James powered up Mask. Also he doesn't hate the Visoreds, it's just that they are unlucky. The masks have time limit, and if fighting someone on their level or stronger, the time runs out faster going by what Kensei said to Mashiro. Think of it as the Kaioken from Dragon Ball

And so long as Mask is around James will stay no matter how op the attack, and Mask would stay if James is around and will get stronger by each cheer James does. So, Kensei could have won IF it was Mask vs Kensei one on one

I know Mask is strong, maybe the strongest one out of the “common” sternitters alongside Gremmy, but still…Kensei wasn’t even able to kill Wonderweiss, and I simply lost it when Aizen grabbed Kinshara and ussd it to crush Rose onto a building like a mosquito. They are the weakest captains without a doubt, only better than Mayuri if he is not given time to elaborate a strategy

@@user-qc2kt5kd3i to be fair, Wonderweiss kept with Yamamoto for a bit there and sealed his Shikai away so... That's not really fair. They are not pathetic, but not as flashy as the other captains. Also, Rose could have won same with Kensei if it wasn't for James. Not saying they are not weak by any means, but they are not as strong let's say Byakuya etc. Also, not sure if you red the manga or not, but Mayuri is/was the MVP with Kisuke

@@soul8648 Wonderweiss was created with the sole purpose of countering old Yama. Come on, man. You can’t just save Mashiro, promise to “beat up an arrogant kid” and get defeated afterwards. As for Rose, to me his Bankai looks like a super weak hybrid of Ryujin Jakka and Hyorinmaru…Tosen and Gin were way stronger than these two. Lastly, no, I have only watched the anime, so please don’t tell me anything about Mayuri because I want to see him shining. It has been a while, since the Szayel Aporro fight

We still don't know what happen since it was off-screen, but we can assume he was defeated. And I won't spoil you anything beyond that, but using Wonderwiss as an example is not really fair. Rose's Bankai is actually op, but Mask MADE it look weak. Imagine what would happened if Rose had the same Reiatsu as Aizen lol

I’m quite the opposite. MDM is one of my top 3 SR. He bodies the most characters of the group, his fighting style is very unique among the Wandereich, he only losses once he breaks character, and Renji’s fight ends the same way how he was introduced into Bleach, as a Villain. (Full Circle) Also if you think the S.S. Is innocent, just wait until you find out what happens to a Captain when they die and the Konso Reisai Ritual.

@@Blad3sofWaR I already know what happens to them. To me, villains at least need to burn. It sickens me the most when villains believe they’re following justice when they’re the real monsters. I also accepted that’s what happens to captains when they die. Everything dies and they have to go somewhere. If it’s to help balance the world, why question it or bother it?
