This is an eye opening video. I actually was getting kind of tired in Kenshi. One of the biggest problems I had in Kenshi was I felt the means of progression from thing to thing made no sense, and when you only look at them in a surface level, they really dont, but the idea of Kenshi being a game where being a strong character isnt the goal and simply setting smart goals for consistent progress over time does genuinely make alot more sense. Kenshi is less of a game where you tie your gameplay experience directly to what happens to your character as an extension of the player and more of a story making engine that progressively gives you challenges for you to decide how your character overcomes in order for them to acheive the goal you have set for them and create a story as you play. Subbed.

Kenshi is about installing the bouncing boobs mod, having a harem, founding the biggest weed farm and the biggest hash caravan.

As someone who played Kenshi without mods for ages and was able to get to a somewhat strong character without them, this video is too accurate. It was well worth it though, Beep and i shall take over the world!

Kenshi really isn't that much crueler than reality, for example I really want a Nestle mod based around some dude hogging water in a dry area, you know their whole water isn't a human right, kenshi is just a world that's very very deep into endstage capitalism, the low amount of resources that a fucking moon has, lead the working class to fight itself instead of the systems that make them have to endlessly increase producution, you know something we kind of already see here on earth a lot. The population of kenshi is just far more entrenched into facism than we are here

Kenshi has horrifying monsters and very unsafe roads on which they roam. Reality might suck but at least I don’t get eaten by a giant monster on my way to Walmart.

@@Toastyfunnyguy thats just cause you live in the imperial core as the mostly accepted demographic, like greenlander males in the Holy nation do. your story would be very different if you lived in areas that have feelt the weight of abuse through capital to its real extend, like large parts of africa and india for example, roads are generally not very safe outside the imperial core but yeah wildlife is easier to take care of irl than in kenshi that is true
