It's fascinating to witness those giant machine wrecks scattered around in the Kenshi wasteland...makes you wonder what the hell happened.

The humans were fearful/ they had no use of the giant robots after the war ended. So they basically ordered the giant robots into the upper part of the fog islands and they used some sort of liquid nitrogen or some kind of chemical to freeze the robots. It’s said that the fog is caused by the chemicals used to seal the robots. Dialogue suggests that the ground is fully solid so that’s one theory.

I absolutely love the Fog Island for the exact reason that Greyclouds story of the location portrays. Thick fog with infinite number of fogmen, ive had entire Holy Assualts wiped out even before they arrive at my base in the Fog Islands. Ive played this game for so long that most of my original characters are strong enough to solo an entire swarm of fogmen.

Agreed i send my players in to the fog solo to keep training and upping there stats...they are easily defeated solo in later stages of game.

I love the way you're making your lore videos! Other than lowering the BGM a tad bit so it doesn't overpower your voice overs, it's great. Narration is top notch and the script and info purveyed are all amazing!

The Behemoths remind me of the God Warriors in Nausicaä of the valley of the wind. While the God Warriors were biomechanical beings instead of fully mechanical like the Behemoths, their bones are seen around the landscape in a similar manner as the broken frames of the Behemoths are.

The slave traders faction hates the Mongrel faction, despite the Mongrel faction having a neutral attitude towards the slave traders. I found this out when I made a faction pacifiers mod. I put Mongrel's pacifier in Bark in the north-east corner of the Great Desert. When I went to check on this new pacifier, he was getting a beat down by the slave traders there. Perhaps the Mongrel faction was meant to have a reciprocal animosity towards the slave traders but it was overlooked during development. Many such cases.

Damn, so what you are saying is that one of these giants that helped the humans to survive the skeletons retaliation regardless of the humans betrayal was actually interpreted over time as the god okran by the later known holy nation? The very thing they mark as the devil is also their god, huh? I dunno, Kenshi got f' all for Story, probably on purpose but I wonder if the writer, Natalie Mikkelson, had previous experience or did such an incredible job with this game because she didn't.
@immanuel62332 жыл бұрын
The Behemoth that the Okranites originally worshipped is most likely Stobe, and you can also trace the change to Okran and all the reason the Holy Nation hated non humans to their hatred of skeletons and most importanly Cat Lon. When they founded their religion for some reason Cat Lon decided to crack down on them and thus they hated skeletons for prosecuting them, they very much dislike both Shek and Hivers because both were a bio-engineering project that was ordered by Cat Lon with the Shek originally known as the Enforcers. And the change to Okran is to create a degree of separation from worshipping Stobe who is a behemoth skeleton so that they could say they don't worshipped him, because in Holy Nation lore its Citrin who sacraficed himself to protect life just like how Stobe sacraficed himself to protect life on Kenshi, and from that sacrafice was born Okran and Narko

It could very well be that fogmen can have a chance of spreading a parasite to other hivers. Maybe a Fog Prince could have that ability

Looking forward to watching this channel grow On the fog men one of the ideas os they use the bio material they ingest to make new fogmen

I think all hivers do this to some degree, i.e. the western hive uses grains etc and the southern hive uses blood, explaining their colors.

Gnue... Had a point of view put to me that after the humans were, lets say given up on by the Skeletons and left to fend for them selves a cheaper work force was needed, enter the Hivers, first came the Fogmen crazy and uncontrollable, then the Southern Hive War like also uncontrollable, then the Western Hive hard working and intelegent. Watched and 👍 Liked

its pronounced bo- hem -meths. The first and second empires both collapsed or occured due to skeletons trying to wipe out all organic life, namely humans and all existing organic factions in kenshi. They know this and lie about not knowing or having their minds wiped. The second in command of the machnists when questioned by a skeleton gives a different narrative than given to humans, and he talks about how he keeps technology from the human counter parts and actively stops their progression or advancement. Much of the armour Kings dialogue also eludes to skeletons been the cause of wiping organics from kenshi.

also really doesnt makes sense that fogmen would be a different subrace than other hivers if hivers just bolstered their ranks, thatd be like if asians bolstered the reseves of a caucasian army but as soon as they are in the field they instantly look caucasian
