Our journey will the first wielder of the blade Kat, a young boy who came upon the Phoenix Blade after his caravan was slaughtered. Now on the run from both the Holy Nation and the United Cities, Kat can only count on two things. Himself and the blade in his hand.

YES! You did it once again Rycon and blessed us by continuing with this tale. Your timing is impeccable, as I shortly stopped playing Kenshi after your last video but just started playing last week again, and now the continuation of the Tale of the Blade is just perfect. When I saw the community update with the free camera, I immediately had to think of your series and how good the coming episodes may be. And let me tell you, you didn't disappoint. The difference is quite noticeable in a lot of scenes, (especially liked 15:00) there is just a lot more freedom now, and I can't wait to see what you will cook with that new camera. Something that I always thought may be interesting would be to lose the blade and land in slavery, with Cat having to recover it once again, with him being in the dessert known for slavery my wish may come true, but I shall wait and see what happens next. Oh, and three things I wanted to mention: First, I loved the small entry of the inventory at 4:51. I know that the series is focused around roleplay, but knowing what Cat carries with him and the stats at 17:15 are just something I need for my gamer brain. Also wanted to ask if we ever saw the stats of the sword? If not, could we see them in the next episode? I don't know if I just overlooked it or if it was intended that we don't know the stats. Second, I loved the scene at 8:40 never noticed it before, but that red gem almost looks like the eye of a devil, daring anyone to lay its eyes on it only for those that do so for too long to provoke a duel to the death. Third, I don't know how you did it, but you achieved the impossible by making Cat look good with these goggles. I swear I never use these solely because I think they look silly, but Cat actually rocked the style somehow 🤣 Keep up the great work. I can't wait for the next episode ^^

Commenting on the most recent video to say to ya that this run as well as Sand's story both inspired me to start my own roleplay run using the Holy Blade start, with the goal of taking down the United Cities, mostly focusing on killing Tengu. update, i caught up, can't wait for the series to continue.

Rycon you should look into ai npcs for fallout and skyrim. You can give your character a back story and all npcs react accordingly and talk back to you when you talk to them (A bit like improv partners). All the lore and things said gets compiled and saved into the ai's context meaning it remembers all your interactions with characters etc. Would be interesting to experiment with it at the very least. It's a surreal experience to have after all these years the npc talk back spontaneously lol.

@@stevenjohns1322 Hey bud, glad to hear things are going well. Me, things are going like last time we talked. Mostly retired and picking up the occasional short term contract if I'm interested. I'm almost finished some R&D work for a local wood stove company. They usually make home heating stoves and BBQ's but wanted to see if they could make a more rustic heating unit that you could cook on with an attached water heater for cabins that don't have electricity or any thing else to function. Kind of a cabin in the woods idea. So far it's going really well. I don't think we're going to get any more kicks videos, I just hope everything going well for her.
