Kensington addict said he saw his closest friend shot dead

I went into Kensington and decided to interview a drug user. He was able to tell me how he ended up in Kensington. I can't imagine the pain he felt when his closest friend was killed. I pray he goes to rehab, and that he will get grief counseling. Processing the death of his grandmother and close friend will help on his journey to recovery. God bless him and all of the addicts in Kensington 🙏🏾🙏🏾.

That is tough losing his grandmother and closest friend. Hopefully, he can talk to someone about the 2 losses. Drug use is not the way to go when losing people you care about. God bless him and lead him in the right direction 🙏.

How about this. Just stop . Decide to quit. It's a choice . If you want it the sickness feels good when you refuse to accept it anymore . Then when u start feeling sorry for yourself get your ass up and do something productive. Mix and repeat everyday . 4 years clean Sept 10 . People say you won't quit till you want to and that's the plain truth . Choose

He said he traps, works on the “set”, so it’s common down there for the dope dealers to use the junkies to sell the dope on the block(set) because the dealers don’t really care if junkies get locked up, they’re expendable. The addicts will get some free bags for selling the dope. Say for every bundle they sell they get one bag out of the bundle or something.

@jamesbuttery3862 That is crazy that the dope dealers have drug addicts selling drugs for them. At the same time, dealers run the risk of drug addicts using the drugs and not selling it. The dealers also run the risk of the drug addicts being caught and ratting out the dealers for a lighter sentence.

@@ready_to_destination True but I've seen other interview channels like yours where they've interviewed a few people that have run off with the drugs and now they have the dealers out in the neighborhood the addict is basically stuck in looking to seriously harm them. There is a lot of money being made and they're serious about their money. The addict has somewhat of an incentive to not steal so they can keep their habit going but like you said they are not the most trustworthy... In regards to being afraid of the addicts snitching on them...I'm sure it's a very loose relationship, the addict probably only knows the dealer by a street name and doesn't know where they live. But yes I'm sure that's always a concern for dealers of being told on.
