Love your attention for Dutch top acts. Their own repertoire is super as well, but the yearly "Vrienden van Amstel" show is a treat to bands and fans of all ages. ("Friends of Amstel", Amstel being a sister brand of beer to Heineken. The show is a party of many, many Dutch top acts. 12 nights in a row, total 160,000 people present) Both bands come from the same craddle as Nightwish' Floor Jansen, the Dutch Rock Academy)

This was taken from a show called "Vrienden van Amstel Live" (Friends of Amstel Live), witch is an annual concert where a whole lot of Dutch musicians and bands come together to play their songs/eachother's songs and covers of the best. Collabs are the main thing. The concerts are labelled as "The biggest pub in the Netherlands" and involve a lot of dancing, singing and beer. Ps. The high energy guitarist is called Spike, he's from the band Di-Rect. And he's been bouncing across stages since the start of the band in 1999. 🇳🇱🤘

Hi, i were there that evening and i had goosebumps all the time. They also played uncharted that evening at vrienden van amstel. That was before it was on the radio. It was one of the most beautiful moments i’ve ever witnessed.

We can say the F word on t.v., no problem. Effect: only an expression of frustration, (almost) nobody is offended by it anymore. Sometimes when foreign bands hear that it's no problem to say that in our country, they curse all the time on stage and most of us are like: really??? Not interested, we want the music. ( the Cult live at Pinkpop) I miss live shows, planned to go to Within Temptation together with Evanescence but it's postponed to next year. Can't wait.

Unfortionally the singer you thought was good the one with the black beanie left the band he was in named kensington. You should definitly listen to some songs from them. Normally the guy with the curls sings calm songs. They previously wrote soldier on. Their band is called Di-Rect. The thing of vrienden van amstel live is dutch singers who cover songs from other artists. Hope this helps. Kyra from the netherlands😃
