So do you want to know which vest to buy between the ez vest max and the ez vest pro? In this video Kensui Ez vest Max versus Ez vest Pro the full comparison i will be going over everything about these 2 vests from kensui fitness so you can decide which one is right for you and which one you should invest your money in. So Kensui fitness invented the Ez vest and i did a review on the ez vest talking about the pros and cons for it, how it will make weighted calisthenics better but since that video they have released the ez vest pro which is there way of making the popular ez vest max more affordable.
Lets the honest the kensui ez vest is a lot of money and since i have bought it it has gone up in price, but there are no other vests like this, no vest can hold 100kg so its a very sort after weighted calisthenics equipment. The thing is not everyone will want a vest that can hold 100kg, not many are interested in going that far with their weighted calisthenics and just want it to add a little weight for doing circuits and running in. Where this is where the ez vest pro comes in, a more lightweight more affordable version that still holds 50kg and costs a lot less. So in this full comparison my aim of this video is to help you decide which kensui vest vest, the max or the pro is right for you, do enjoy and please comment down below which one you bought and why. Don't forget to check out the kensui ez vest and nanobar playlist down below if you need more info

I bought the 110 pound vest, 110 is still a considerable amount of weight for dips and push ups. and for squats you could load the bar with less weight and wear the vest and immediately do a drop set, or hold dumbbells while doing lunges. I'm glad to hear the vest doesn't look much different and the sleeve isn't metal.

The metal ones don't screw on as well because of vibrations, and possibly looser tolerances. The plastic ones dampen the vibrations more. I've had the same experience with ACME thread screws and steel nuts vs 3D printed nuts.

@@LeeDowningKeat Thanks for the review! The vest is something I might be interested for, eventually, but mostly for HSPUs. Right now I have a 60 lbs vest, and I add some more weight with a dip belt, but having a vest that could go heavy without dangling would be nice.

@@LeeDowningKeat It's okay. Personally, the only thing I'd use a vest for is HSPUs, because you can just load much more weight using a dip belt for dips and pull-ups (and I already can do more than what the Max can handle on dips), and it does seem a lot easier to put on a heavy dip belt compared to a heavy vest. The vest dominates for inverted stuff tho. And probably push-ups, actually. Dip belt leaves big burns on the armpits during weighted push-ups. A vest would be better.

How easy is it to put on when back plates are on ? I assume back plates will be put on before you put vest on ?
@LeeDowningKeat
@LeeDowningKeat 3 жыл бұрын
It’s pretty easy, the vest itself is small and the weight is on the adapter which is connected to the back plate , so it’s easy to grab and hold to out over your head. The weight unlike say sandbags are smaller and more localised so it’s easier to lift and put over you. Sandbag ones the weight is distributed over the whole vest and it’s sags over you. This the weight is centre to the adapter and it’s back plate so very easy to grab and move. Hope that helps?

@LeeDowningKeat
@LeeDowningKeat 3 жыл бұрын
It won’t be the same as a barbell as a barbell you can load a large amount of weight but the feeling is different and feels harder than a barbell. Just depends how much weight you have. The max can hold 100kg but it all depends on what plates you have. I have thin powerlifting style plates so can load more weight on. They are also doing a “bumper plate adapter “ soon so you could load even more weight . What this does so well is if you do single leg work. You hands are feel for balance so yea you can get a great leg workout with this vest

It depends on how thick your plates are. I can fit 4x 10kg plates ok each adapter but I have thin plates. On the video or website there is a loading space to tell you how much space you have to load plates on. You will have to measure your plates and check them. @@LeeDowningKeat that's so disappointing, I've waited so long and my normal iron weights that aren't even very thick cant fit with the collor 😣

Buckles constantly breaking open. Poorly designed product and the company is trying to convince me not to return the entire vest and sending me parts that are impossible to replace without cutting and sewing the vest up. AVOID

Sorry to hear that you have an problems with your vest and it’s likely a one off issue. I’ve had multiple vests for nearly two years and not had this issue. Hopefully it will get resolved for you. Part of the reason of them sending out individual parts is how they are able to provide lifetime guarantee. It’s been made to be taken apart so it can be fixed that way.I highly doubt the parts needing replacement will need cutting and sewing

So do you think I'm lying? The buckles are permanently sewed on and can't be replaced would think you would know this.
