if you fail to make the 1st one, follow these steps : 🥴 - 0:37 scale those vertices / dots to be more straight vertically - the mesh will slightly deform, this could help you to find the pattern in step 18 - 0:41 you don't really 'split' the edges , this is actually subdivision, in blender : select all -> right click -> subdivide, OR you can use subdivision modifier : level 1 - change algorithm from 'catmull clark' to 'simple' -0:42 make sure to really focus on this step, you need to find the exact selection pattern before inflating the mesh, -in blender you need to apply scale first, then use SHRINK/FATTEN : Alt+S ( scale along the normals ) to inflate *the creases in the middle might be barely noticeable, you might want to mark sharp, shrink those creases or if you want to use SubD, better add Crease value

0:37 Getting stuck in this step... how much are you scaling this by? I'm guessing 0.75 but with the rotations it's a bit hard to tell... Otherwise, this has been really helpful in figuring this out! Thank you!
