As pitiful as she acts , she neglected her child over her spouse. I can’t imagine how lonely and sad that baby’s 10 months on earth were like. Hungry , lying in filth and no loves and hugs from her parents . No comfort she cried. I’m so mad at her

That mattress’s stains is what comes out of a body when you die. Especially after laying there for a day. Did I miss more filth ? Sorry. I’m not disagreeing with you. I’m just not sure if you are unaware that is common after someone dies or if the whole place was gross. Ty

Both parents cried more tears for themselves than for the infant they slowly starved to death. The baby, who died at ten months old, weighed EIGHT POUNDS when she died and was so sick and weak from starvation she couldn’t lift her arms and her bones were poking through her skin. These parents are the very *epitome* of scum.

And if you see her spouse, he weighs about 280 or 300 pounds at least, that's how big he looked at his interrogation. They ate all the food they wanted. Meanwhile, that poor little angel starved to death in front of them, and they did nothing.

I think he at least would have survived that, and still had spare blubber to sustain him. I just cannot fathom this case at all. To feed two other children yet leave the most defenceless to suffer and starve slowly to death. I think this is joint 1st position only with the baby in the bouncy chair in a dark room facing a wall whilst maggots done what maggots do. Horrific barely describes what those evil monsters did to their own flesh & blood.

When I moved from one state to the other 19 years ago with my kids and I couldn’t find a job right away, my money began getting short to feed my kids. I lost 20 lbs myself, you know why? Because I was not eating so they could eat, I would lock myself in my bedroom at night to cry my lungs out, so they wouldn’t see me crying in desperation. My kids ate all his meals everyday even if that meant not me eating.

Sorry as* woman, poor excuse for a mother. I can't imagine what this baby went through. She only weighed 8lbs when she passed away!? That's inexcusable. She deserved life in prison. I know only what i saw and heard of their police interviews. I watched his first and immediately thought what an arrogant f** liar. When i watched her's I wondered how on earth did an educated , well spoken pretty young woman end up with that slob. Monsters' is what they ended up. No other description quite fit's them. That little girl must have cried and cried at the start, as a mum I always woke at the first snuffle and movement of my baby, never got a chance to cry. How could they hear her cries of pain and not react instinctively to feed and care for her. I imagine her pain was as bad if not worse when they did feed her as i presume they then overfed what her tiny body could cope with. I really hope they suffer greatly every day of their lives. They also took their two other children's lives and of the unborn. What a legacy.

Different sentences for different counts. If the sentences ran "concurrently" with each other (i.e. life w/out parole and 30 years) they would merge with each other and run at the same time. If they run "consecutively" like here, when she's done serving the first sentence - life w/out parole, her second sentence of 30 years starts. I know, life without parole will never end in order to start the 30 years, but that's how our system works. If somehow the life sentence gets changed on appeal, the 30 years is still right behind it. Whenever you hear sentences running consecutive, that's the worst outcome for defendants.

I used to feel that way… but our system entitles all accused persons to a competent defense. It’s a lawyer’s job to enthusiastically advocate for clients regardless of personal feelings. The system would be too unfair (and unwieldy) if we began separating out who we thought deserved a legal defense and who did not.
@videoettaceo8900
@videoettaceo8900 9 ай бұрын
The US justice system cannot function without public defenders. SOMEONE has to hold the state accountable. To ensure they can prove the charges. To ensure innocent people are not abused by those in power. They force the state to prove their case. Public Defenders protect everyone's rights.
