That's not the reason he said that. He's asking because auditors claim to be acting in the public interest. Yet despite that aim, he is acting against the public by recording people entering the station who may not want to be seen doing so.

The officers’ point (confidentiality) was sensible and very valid, put across in an adult way, without threat. I like that. Shame the foreign lady compared an operating station to a private dwelling - both very different in Law. Problem is, if Sky, ITV or the BBC were filming he wouldn’t come out, let alone talk to them. So we’re only left with just one, key question. “Why not”?

@Neverod8doreveN The Sergeant didn't call the Auditor obnoxious, he referred to the act of filming the public (some of whom may have been reporting abuse or making witness statements and wished to retain anonimity for safety or security reasons) as "slightly obnoxious" ( obnoxious > annoying or objectionable), he also added "you're not being unreasonable". It's always best not to draw the wrong conclusion to fit a narrative. I would have more respect for the position of the Auditor if he were to address and comment on wrongly stated conclusions, simply in the interests of honesty & accuracy. what you're doing i'd like to think that 09:45 it's not malicious 09:46 it's not and although slightly obnoxious 09:49 you're not being unreasonable

I watch a lot of auditing videos and find it interesting not only to see the police's response but also how you conduct yourself. I have to say of all the auditors I enjoy your videos because you're always non-confrontational, never personal or insulting and always respectful in how you speak until it really becomes necessary to be firm. I like live free and marti blagborough but sometimes their temper gets the better of them and AB always manages to get personal digs in. Keep it up!

This video shows that there is still a lot of training needs to be done with the police, with regards to public interaction and public photography. They were going to get marks of 5/10 but that last officer knocked it up to a 6/10. He knew the score that it was an audit and it was funny to see the chess playing of words between you two.

I watch all of the auditors on KZbin and it does seem that each station now has an officer that has English as a second or third language. And some that struggle with the basics.
