Its important to understand that if a guy was acting suspiciously and later turned out to be a terrorist and committed such act and people died, there would be a lot of questions asked if police said oh we ignored him as PINAC. They have a job to do to protect and you have to allow them to do this. I am sure if anyone lost a loved one and police had not done their job they would be demanding answers. The manchester bomber circled the venue several times acting suspiciously and was not challenged. What if he had and those lives were not lost? Ask someone who has lost a loved one in a terror attack if the police response in this video is warranted or not before being critical of them. 👍

I agree that he’s obviously assumed they’ll come and that’s what he’s auditing - the response to his generally legal actions. But once they arrived they acted fairly and he started talking in a way that suggests he might be doing something illegal. Specifically the comments like ‘I missed a bit that I need to go back and film’ goes against his claims that he’s just filming the area in general and implies that he has a specific list of things to document about the building. That is inherently suspicious and worthy of detention to ascertain the content of the video.

The representatives of the public have decided that the Police may not require details from members of the public in this situation. If the Parliament wanted to change the law, it could do so at any time. To assume that the Government has not considered this possibly and rejected it, would be ridiculous. Never forget that an authoritarian will take a step forward every time you take a step back.

yes but and its a big but, he's very subtly fishing and prying and trying to justify why AB should give up his right to privacy. Using guilt and shame , if your a good citizen and all that , then you should have no problem ID ing your self. None of this banter had anything to od with the law, public photography is 100% legal and these cops desperately fishing to find something to kidnap him for or a justification for why he should ID. Just slimey weasels like a used car salesman trying to get you to buy a car you dont really care for, they are relentless. I know its content , drag it out for video footage , but I think AB could shut these clowns down in two minutes , hes not breaking any laws. Call their bluff, arrest me or fuck off.
