Hi Guys, I really hope you enjoyed my first film review video. What’s your thoughts on Kentmere 400, and what film stock would you recommend me to try out next? Thanks for watching and I’ll see you in the next video!

Looks great Hayley. You've produced some fantastic picture with the roll of expired film so I'm super excited to see what's to come from a fresh in date roll!

Great shots. I really love those one of the car with the vines growing over it. Very well done Hayley.

I've been shooting film off and on since the late 1950s, but I'm yet to try Kentmere 400. I have used Kentmere papers, and they're very good (and cheap!) but I ordered 5 rolls of pan 400, and your video is most encouraging. I have a thing about old clockwork cameras that don't need batteries and I'm looking forward to loading up one of my Spotmatics with this stuff!

I think that Kentmere usually falls a bit short when trying to get a punchier image. I have found that pushing it to 1600 or even 3200 gives some nice deep shadows. The heavier grain is okay for printing in the darkroom, but it can look a bit off if you are scanning the negatives.
