Just a couple of reasons I love this channel. 1. The man eats an egg roll with utter flippancy. No plate in place to catch that glorious yolk. No plate to lick. 2. The man cooks a full on Shepherd's Pie. The man neglects to film the consumption. It is his pie and he enjoyed it. Good. The list goes on, as will my subscription.

happy new year andy. well after watching you and simon hot tenting last year,i went out and got a one tigris iron wall stove tent and a winnerwell nomad stove s. tried it out new years eve in some woodland i planted over 30 years ago when i worked on a farm . didnt really need the stove as it was so warm 13 degs at midnight. cant wait to try it out on a colder night. had a few deer barking in the night and a couple of owls tooting to each other. what a great way to start the new year . great to see you back, awesome video again

Cottage pies are awesome! I used to call mine shepherds pie, until a Welshman corrected me. Now i try to call it correctly. But no matter the meat, the combination of meat, veg, gravy, ,and potatoes is just heavenly. It may be heretical, but i usually bake mine covered for a bit to let everything get to know each other, and then uncover, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, then broil to get a nice top crust. Usually, the cheese disappears into the mash, leaving a cheesy mash topping that is crispy on the top, fluffy underneath, and savory with the meat and veg in gravy!

The best meals of my life havent been at fancy restaurants. The best meals ive ever eaten were cooked over a camp fire . Something about the smoke flavor and eating outdoors after working around camp makes the food taste all the better !

Greetings from Australia. Our cuisine is considered the best in the world because we have wonderful people living here from everywhere on the planet. Traditional food from the UK I have to make my own. Cooking suggestions; Plowman's lunch, no pickled walnuts & at least 2 X preserve/chutney - fail. Scotch eggs, cheapest fattiest mince or fail. Cornish pasties, no turnip/swede plus history - fail.
