Right, I’ve learned lots from these blokes. I feel pretty confident I could survive out in the woods. Bears still bother me but if I was in the woods I’d have certain items with me…Fire starter, sleeping bag, wood saw, bear bell, bear spray, pistol.

Hey Kent, My name is Troy Farris I am 57 yrs old, and like you I love to camp! To just get away from everything and enjoy nature,and the reason I am writing this is because 4 months ago I found out I had cancer, I was feeling so much agony in my lower back that I finally went to the hospital and they said that I had lumps that were against my spine and it was pushing against the nerves. They did surgery and I went thru the chemo , but it was hard and agonizing.but one day my sister came to the hospital to see me and she told me about your videos and so I watched them and the whole time I watched them I didn't feel the pain. Watching you brought back so many good camping memories.so that is why I'm writing this,to say to you,thank you from the bottom of my heart thank you for helping someone not feel pain and be at piece and be happy. Well done, Andy. My parents came from Hong Kong to start a takeaway here in the UK back in the late 70s. A job well done, mate. I worked in the shop for about 13 years and finally moved on to work in the NHS as a nutritionist but I still remember all of the smells from the dishes that we made. Had a friend in High school once who would go out on camping / hunting trips with his dad & His dad would throw seeds on the ground around the area they frequented & didn't think too much of it. Later on in mid summer they went back out to the spot & there were loads of peppers & tomatoes growing out on their site. He went out hunting but returned with several pounds of vegetables.

9:30 love the table .. fun fact: decades ago, for a small time, I sold cars. The training vid we were shown for our SUV model was taking the p&ss out of Ford because their back hatch opened sideways, whereas ours lifted like yours. They were making out like it was the greatest design feature ever incorporated - a 'spare room' / instant awning. I've never forgotten this and every time I see you standing under your hatch I lol.😂

You made a variation of bacon froize (aka bacon fraise). When we do a cooking demonstration with this variation, we put the bacon in small pieces. It uses more of the batter and makes the finished product easier to dip. It's also really good for putting into a takeaway carton and eating in the car if one's running late in the morning.
