Those are high schoolers, if you didn't know. sophomores, juniors, and seniors can try out. But, expectedly so, it's extremely tough to make it. You have to sight read a piece and read the syllables. Not to mention, you only have a few minutes to recognize every note, nor can you write it in before you sing it in front of the judges. Then you're judged on rhythm, pitch, dynamic, and correct syllables. This is after you perform the organized piece, which every year I've known it is in another language. You're judged on the same as the sight reading, as well as the pronunciation of the foreign words. I hope to try out my senior year and regret not doing so this year and letting the person go that I did. My classmate is there somewhere though, and she sings absolutely beautifully and her sight reading is almost flawless. I say almost because she got a 9.5 out of 10 possible points on her sight reading. Their voices are so beautiful because they're, no offense to anybody by any means, the top singers in all the state. Hence the name "All-State"

That would be the best sopranos available hitting the high notes. Though frankly I'm sure that a large part of the sopranos stay on the lower part, as soprano 2s. That's a hard note to belt.
@courtney061119976 жыл бұрын
As a Soprano 1, it’s honestly hard keeping that note alive while trying not to go flat or sharp and keeping it loud enough to be hear but not too loud. But hitting a note that high isn’t really that hard. Its fun! :)
