On The Solid Verbal college football podcast's Week 5 reaction show, we obviously talk Mark Stoops and Kentucky going to Oxford and taking down Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss 20-17. We go over how fierce Brad White's Wildcat defense looked, the big plays from Brock Vandagriff and Dane Key, and how real we should be taking Kentucky moving forward against this schedule. We also talk Ole Miss limitations on offense and their inability to get off the field on defense, and what that means moving forward, even with a favorable schedule.

In this era of fast break football with teams like Tennessee, Southern Cal, Ole Miss, Mahomes, Burrow and Josh Allen … I think it’s really hard for national folks to wrap their brain around Kentucky football mentality. Stoops sees offense as a tool to help his defense by creating long time consuming drives as they play keep away & allow the defense to rest. (If you disagree, go look at how many OC’s Stoops has had at Kentucky and ask yourself “why”) I think Kentucky has a top 10 defense this year, and top 20 skill players they just need to continue to get that offensive line sorted out. Brock still has a very short window to throw. (go back and watch the South Carolina game and look how bad Kentucky’s offensive line got dominated) If they can sure that up Kentucky will be up a potential playoff team. The addition of Eric Wofford will help Kentucky tremendously in the future.

Carolina only pit up 250 total yards on Kentucky, it was an offensive melt not the D

The classless act of the "Kiffin Flop" is despicable,

Kentucky gave up a pick 6 and and gave s Carolina the ball inside the 20 30 yard line 2 times. And only gave 250 yards so it's not like they just ran all over Kentucky it was simply our offense tucked that game.
