DIY Whitetail No product promotion and hunting deer that us average hunters have the ability to go after. Sickens me when a hunting celebrity says that 180” buck isn’t on our hit list.

@@58BowNut shoot what makes you happy. I prefer to Target the largest buck I can hunt... It's called hunting and when you shoot one first day out well, your done hunting. And no I can't afford traveling to every state in the USA.

Man it has been 20 years or more ago, but my hunting buddy and me had access to a large wheat field in western Oklahoma. The night before Opening Day, We went out and sit and watched the wheat field I have never again seen so many bucks all in one place, there was 3 large tall tine huge bucks. Come the next day, we never seen them again. My hunting buddy ended up getting one of them two years later, but man it was a really fun evening sitting there watching those bucks on the field. Thanks for sharing this video with us and I hope you have a blessed week guys. Keep up the great work on these videos. Dale

He shot the one that gave him the first opportunity for a shot. Waiting could've meant the younger buck getting too close and winding them or busting them. They're out of state with limited time. There's no time to be picky. What's there to prove anyways.
@BowhuntingRoad6 жыл бұрын
There's nothing to prove except to yourself. He stated his goal was to shoot a 2-year-old and he did. There's all the time to be as picky as you want. More power to him. In 30 years of DIY out of state bowhunting, my goals would have been different. I have passed deer and gone home with a tag in my pocket more than half the time. Not better or worse, just my own personal desires. It's really hard work bringing these videos, it would be a lot easier to just go hunting. I admire their willingness to do what they are doing and hope they eventually make some decent money doing it.
@mztd9126 жыл бұрын
Yes they're time was limited, I'm not sure you understand the circumstance they are in. They didn't have time to be picky. They are on a deer tour trying to get a shot of a buck on camera, trophy hunting wasn't the objective. Aaron has shot very, very nice bucks and has nothing to prove by shooting anything bigger in this instance.
@BowhuntingRoad6 жыл бұрын
Wow just wow.

I know it's unbelievable that there's people out there that aren't caught up with antlers or age and just hunt for the love of the sport. I hope one day you get there and realize what all you've been missing. And 30 years is very short. Hunt on young brother and stop focusing on "the bigger one".
