A tour of the War & Peace event including the House and Gardens on 6th August 2023.
History comes to life at this immersive and captivating event. The principal feature of the re-creation concentrates upon those wounded during World War One:
“Bringing the boys back home” highlights the bravery and sacrifice made by those in the service of their country and the vital effort contributed by medical personnel in their devoted care.
Nearly 100 living historians show how they dealt with injuries of soldiers from the trenches and fields of France on a scale never previously seen.
