What's the steering like on that twin steer man as I did an apprenticeship in power steering. When on full lock both ways the axle stops should have a quarter inch gap between them with box or pump relieving pressure at the same time.

The amount of physical labour to work on trucks is phenomenal at times Like a trunnion that won't budge no matter how hot and hard you hit it. It's been in there since day it was built.

Hi from an Australian who lives and works in France, that old slimline Transtar brought back even more memories than that slimline K-dub.Where i used th live in Glenroy (suburb of Melbourne) there was a guy had a cabover slimline Transtar tipper who subbied for Whelan the Wrecker,his name was Cadimone,there was himself and his two sons,Peter and Mick (big bloke) they were also drivers,that tipper was always spotless,i was in primary school at the time,back in the late sixties early seventies (?)I think it had a GM in it (but i could be wrong),we used to live just down the road from where Travalos had his yard on Sydney Rd,it's a trip down memory lane.

Your not a painter until you’ve painted one of these every nook and cranny if you don’t do it properly not worth doing I’ve done my share over the years I’ve got my Mercedes Benz to do not really looking forward to it it will be black hopefully easier as I did chassis in black back in 2006 I’ll be doing the cab as well big job on your own Not much money around for an old pensioner these days You sir are doing a great job 👍 looking good
