Kenworth T680, paccar, Eaton transmission problems 2nd time

Kenworth T680 paccar transmission problem:(
I picked up the load from New Jersey and on my way home probably 100 or 150 miles I start hearing some noise , after I heard that nice didn’t even took like 20 or 30 miles on the transmission start having issues shifting the gears ⚙️ on flat road and uphill to :(
In 2,4,6,8,10&12 transmission didn’t want to work or Drive:(
Sometimes if I got stuck in those gears ⚙️ The transmission didn’t even want to work in 1,3,5,7,9&11 I had to stop reset it the checking couple times before my transmission could go in first gear then after that I had put manual then skip a shift every time if I got stuck in even numbers I had to stop at every time : to clear the code then start all over again :(
Last year they replaced the computer and gear shifter‘s cost like $-7k :(

After they replace it I had issues when was cold outside then I start driving and stop at stop sign 🛑 downshifting was grinding my gears I want to couple times the dealer they said nothings wrong 😑
I knew it later on I’ll have trouble :(

It’s not that but staying home one month that’s a lot of money 💰:(
I still had the warrant at least I didn’t have to pay for transmission they covered everything :)

I just pickes up a 2023 t680 with 1200 miles on it. Everytime it shifted I herd the transmission grind. Delivered the load went home for the weekend. Went to crank the truck it wouldn't even start due to a transmission fault. Junk is right.

They replaced computer 178,000 miles then they replace transmission 370,000 miles and they replace my computer again around 500,000 miles again :(( Plus bonus they rebuild my engine 467,000 miles :(((( Paccar product it’s junk. The parts are so expensive none of the dealers keep on the stock. Benton to my truck and 370,000 miles 1 thermostat 2 injector seals 3 oil seals 4 manifold 5 transmission computer 6 AC compressor. 7 alternator 8 oil pan 9 coolant Reservoir 10 axles, oil, seal, internal 6 11 airbags 6 12 shacks mountings front 13 Engine rebuild 14 APU AC Battery 🪫 junk 15 coolant reservoir 16 transmission computer 17 PDF whole system 19 high pressure fuel pumps 2 x2 times 20 air compressor head 2 times 21 ABS harness 22 brake valve 23 something more can’t remember:(( All this happened before 370K miles:(( When is not supposed to be damage this parts at least 1 million

1st time 180k miles they replace whole computer and CNC forks , and 350k miles the replace whole transmission ( and 500k they replaced small computer and the small computer damaged the clutch and I had to pay for the clutch:((( it’s a joke not transmission:((

Wow this second video sure shows that this particular model of Large Truck automated transmission sure had serious significant problems, such as gears that are completely chewed up and destroyed. There must have been some very significant defects in that transmission when it was built. The only time I have heard of gears getting torn up in a transmission is when an engine that is far too powerful for the model of transmission is attached to the transmission.

I have 510hp and 1850 torque And they have issues with the case of transmission , usually the case worse auto, Every time I’m going to Kenworth they have one or two transmission the floor :( They have problem with software and the cases to

Yap:( After 15-20 software updates and whole computer with CNC more and forks changed :( The local Kenworth i use their shop they are changing like 3 to 5 transmission a week

Now 1 one month go I just got out off shop, Just people keep asking what was the problem and smart ass keep saying stuff like I am to idiot don’t know what I’m saying or doing just posted everything people to know I want to spread or share some more people to know junkie transmission of Paccar

Well mine is a 2016 and whenever starts acting up with the shifting. I just erase the codes With the machine and it last me for for 4 months and then it does it again and erase the codes again.

Yes on the paccar engines you can reset your transmission code by turning your key from off to accessory repeatedly 6 times in a row, then on the off opposition (On the 6th time) let it sit for 10 seconds. Code should be gone. But it's going to be your selective gear sensor, Replace it and it should be fine.

Next time just remove the batteries for 20 minutes and put them back on and it will erase all the codes

Damn straight! They pay me to drive the truck then let me drive it and choose what gear I want and when. I don't grind them much after 20 years. Stupid Kenworth starts in 4th gear even when pulling empty pup trailer.
