I have a problem with my automatic transmission, it hits only once when it slows down, its sound is similar to a clutch but it is new.

Brother I got this transmission in my truck. It’s just over one year old and I’m having all kinds of problems with it the problems you describe are the very minimum of what I’m going through. This thing will flash the service light and sometimes it’ll go through the gears and sometimes it doesn’t know which gear to go into it’s like it’s fighting to go from one gear to the next. I have to come to a complete stop and push that clutch through the floor And hold it there for about 10 seconds before it starts off again. Sometimes when I go through the gears its real slow and it doesn’t accelerate really fast. I’m not sure what happened to this thing I’m wondering if it’s just a computer glitch and needs to be reprogrammed I’m not sure I absolutely should not be having these kind of problems with this transmission. Do you know anybody who wants to buy it? I need to try to get a manual 13 Speed into this truck so I don’t have to worry about it I hate automatics. worst thing ever invented

Ya man I'd rather have a manual too , not right off with this transmissions people either love it or hate it lol

It’s an Automated Transmission, drastically different from an Automatic Transmission. Yes, the Eaton Automated Transmission, no matter which model, are JUNK. Their Tech support is a fucking joke.

I wanted to change my Eaton Advantage auto to a 13 manual and I was told I'd have to regear both rears and the programming is pretty complicated. Basically I was looking at 40K to switch to a manual and no tractor is worth that. My transmission went 800K MI before I had any problems so it had a good life. I just changed the 2 wiring harnesses and the X Y shifter and the ECA, new flywheel and clutch and all 7 sensors. All of my parts are OEM because as you learned, it's important to go with OEM parts for something critical.
