Yeah exactly. IM a good driver in that aspect. I got the truck and the previous driver got 5.75 mpg and I brought it to 6.75 sometimes seven. IM hoping to get this style kw. IM a c.a.t guy though so I may look for completely restored w900 a glider or if new it's hard to tell if PACCAR or Cummins is best..... I do think probably the x15 at 605 hp and 2050 TQ would be best probably. Would never worry about power

It all started when I saw the Mercedes Benz Actros mp1 1857 V8 while playing King of the Road I fall in love with it and whit the trucks of course. Then I saw the Kenworth W900 in the 18wos Across the America and yes the same thing happened, I fall in love with it and started to love trucks even more.

@@Boobtubeus why would I do something stupid like that. That's like someone I know bought a new truck and didn't get a glider. The thing has a safety device that will hit the breaks if the sensor thinks he is taking a ramp a little too fast. And has almost caused him to reck several times in the winter. I have a 2 old trucks I use for heavey haul and I bet you there more dependible and I keep them both show quality. Not bragging I'm just not satisfied with the trucks they sell today unless it is a glider that you can turn into a pre 99 model truck. I can't see the benefit. It cost way more to fix all the down time over environment Al stuff. And the you would have to use a elog. The emergency heavey haul business I'm in it wouldn't work out. Plus if I'm tired I like to pull over a rest during rush hour! It's alot less stress not trying to beat the clock!

Go ask the major carriers why they do that. The old trucks aren’t gonna last forever. I’m sure the govt will make older trucks illegal eventually so why not just make the best of it. Or you can just quit trucking altogether if that ever happens. Any truck you drive is a gamble. I’ve seen pre emission trucks break down just as much as newer trucks. The days of owning the same truck for 2 million miles is about over

The Australian Kenworth T909 in similar spec with a 54" bunk is generally around $400k - $450k. Now I just need to work out import costs and compliance.
