I am sure if he booked somewhere else it would've been safe and more relaxed!! Kenya is beautiful and he will upload more videos to explore the beautiful side of it so you guys need to cut him some slack!! Jeez!

R u kidding me!!!Kenya is one of the dangerous country that I’ve visited in the whole my many travels. The police stopped me with my 6 month son n wife then asked me to give them for dinner!N I said....no I ain’t gonna give u a penny n they give me option...if I don’t give them $ then they will take me to jail. Then I agreed n give them what had n back to my hotel.N after one week happen again in d/t place n we decided to back to where we come from n we’ll never come back to Kenya!

I live in Kenya 🇰🇪 Mombasa actually and this kind of diversion is not uncommon because of the high Altitude of nairobi.. I assume you were in the river road area and this is a no go area at night.. Don't know why you are getting all the negitave comments. I've been told to go back to my country many times for being white but it don't bother me as i know Kenya 🇰🇪 is not all that bad all of the time. But i understand what you are saying.. If I was in this situation, I would definently say that the day was a disaster. First your flight is delayed by 3 hours, then you land in the wrong country and have further delays. Then when you arrive at your destination, you find out you have rented in the dodgiest part of the city. If thats not a travel disaster, I dont know what is. I think you are overthinking the title, or not been on KZbin for a long time. Literally everyone exhagarates in their titles. It attracts clicks, and this clickbait is nowhere near as bad, as some others ive seen. So I would just say, take it with a grain of salt.

A lot of blacks are some of the sweetest people one might ever meet! Polite! The airline food looked good! I'd imagine with the storms and living close to the equator--the changing of the seasons--it'd be messy weather. It's like that here sometimes, in Indiana, with the tornadoes, because we're so flat.

Brother welcome to Nairobi. Here you are not a traveler or a foreigner like other countries. There are thieves here but only at night which is very rare. Make sure you explore the Rift valley which is the mountainous region, the coast of Kenya which has the Indian ocean, the lakeside of Kenya which has the largest lake in Africa and 4th in the world and the northern arid part of Kenya which has lake Turkana and the indigenous people called The Turkana. Kenya is a big country bro explore. Enjoy your trip. Just like each and every country Kenya has thugs but with a proper guide, you won`t come across one.Cheers.KARIBU KENYA.

Have traveled a lot in the US, Canada, Europe. Some days flying are just crazy. You arrive long, long after the time you were suppost to arrive. Plane breaks down, no flight crew, weather, did I say plane has problems....connecting flight was cancelled, taxi for 100 miles to another airport...Some days you know aren't worth going to the airport. In the olden days, it all seemed to work much better than it does now.

Now you're approaching my hoods! You'd be right about Kilimanjaro Airport, it's located right between Arusha & Moshi, and not too far from the mountain. That place'll give you some epic views! About Nairobi, it does have among the highest criminality rates in the world, so cautiousness is well-advised. But like all cities, it varies between neighborhoods and it's really all about common sense. I lived in Nairobi for a year, and never felt unsafe (as a single white female). Can't wait for the rest of your Kenyan adventure! The beauty of Africa is that things never, ever go as planned. Just enjoy the ride :)

Bad travelling day, eh? Unfortunate Quick word of advice, if you're ever in Nairobi again, City Centre is a place to avoid unless it is absolutely necessary. It is more convenient if you have business there but it is too busy even on ordinary days when the weather is fine (when it rains, traffic doesn't move). Look for areas just outside of the city centre. That part of the City Centre is where gangs run away to hide after maybe snatching stuff from people. But its generally okay to walk about during the day

If its the most dangerous part of the city it means there has to a safer parts of the city right?, In most major cities all over the world, there are always safer parts and not so safe areas. My question to you is, you had a choice to make as far as where you were going to stay (I guess based on your budget) why did you chose this part of the city?.. then go on to talk about it as if you just landed on the moon....nkt ...mcheew (that's Kenyan expression for,...we know your kind).

I flew to the Solomon Islands. My flight was delayed 3 days. I win. lol. No tourists just me and a handful of locals. I love off-the-beaten-track adventures too. I stayed in a military compound in the capital before I flew out to stay with a tribe in the wilderness. Flew with a UN tiny plane pilot out to the middle of the jungle. I was the only passenger on the plane. Best trip ever. Feel lucky to have visited one of the last wildernesses on earth before it got dodgy again.

People are being really disrespectful to Nick, here in these comments. Not fair! Sometimes people use a words to describe how they feel that their own experience is... like disaster, horrible, terrible, scary, etc. Nick isn't calling Kenya a disaster, as a country or that being around the people is a disaster! Use your brains folks! A trip that took an entire day of travel as opposed to 3 hours... left Nick really exhausted for a travel day to just not go as planned! I'd call it a disastrous travel day too, (if I were in his shoes.) Nick wants to be where he is, so stop telling him that he should just "go home!" Seems like many people who watch Nick's videos are giving his videos a "test," that I believe he is being unfairly graded on...by people who call out every little microscopic detail. Nick loves Africa and loves traveling! He's respectful to everyone who he interacts with! He shows us how beautiful countries are to us...many people who have never been to them! He takes beautiful scenery with his camera and drone, when he is able! Give Nick a break, I mean you don't HAVE to watch his videos, if you don't like them! ~Catherine from NY 🐱💜

As much as you wanna be adventurous, do your homework well before you embark to foreign countries to avoid getting yourself into problems and end up tarnishing everyone in general , in contrast to what you barked , KENYA AIN'T A WRONG COUNTRY, every country gots its own troubles but doesn't qualify to be wrong. The people make up the country not vice versa.

Wow! hectic day! Cool video. I'm sure you will end up having a blast in Kenya, I do however think that you made a wise move in listening to the local people, and deciding to explore different areas. Tourists often come to Durban in South Africa, and just don't understand how dangerous some areas can be, however a few kilometers down the road can be really fine. Local knowledge is king in Africa, but don't let it bog you down, because I'm sure Kenya has a lot to offer! Enjoy!

Honestly why you even here just go back to Ethiopia or go to the next country. Every country has its challenges you don't have to over exaggerate everything just for clicks .Chicago has literally one of the highest crime rates but ofcourse you wouldn't make a video basically pulling it down but since its Africa you have the audacity to just for clicks. This is literally the first video of someone talking bad of Nairobi without even experiencing it. And next time don't disrespect our flag like that smh. Fyi Clickbaits no longer work in 2018 .

first welcome to kenya, yes security is an issue especially in eastlands. don't go flashing cash especially forex ((* 200 USD is one months teachers / secretary's salary.*)) if you are gonna be around for a number of days, get the local currency (kenya shilling ) in small denominations for 70% of the cash get 100 and 200 ksh notes and the 30% in 500 ksh notes. the exchange rate is approx 1 USD = 100 ksh ) if you don't have a local guide avoid public transport mini-buses called ( matatu ) take uber instead. they are relatively cheap and will save you a major security headache. A fairly safe neighbourhood to stay would be westlands or kilimani / milimani or yaya. but if you are into the night scene and clubbing you have to be vigilant . dont over indulge in alcohol dont leave drinks unattended even for 2 seconds. ohhhh and always use a rubber !. towns outside the capital city tend to be way safer- but thats no excuse to let your guard down. ps remember have local currency and bargain.

Senegal is a safe place, people there are very nice (though most don't speak English) and the Internet there is pretty good.
