Not necessarily. I am a Ghanaian who grew up in America and I moved back to Ghana as an adult for about 10 years . I am considering visiting and possibly living in Kenya . I recently traveled to South Africa with some African Americans women who had already been to Ghana . A few expressed interest in returning to Ghana , and one lady was disappointed in South Africa based on what her friend had told her about her Ghana experience . I was actually surprised, I’m like you’ve been and want to go back lol? But there was some feeling of being connected that they appreciated about Ghana. For African Americans wanting to move to Ghana, I do believe there are better options than Ghana, but at the end of the day people prioritize different things. I’m definitely open to Kenya as a place of more ease, more infrastructure development and what seems better investment opportunities so I hope to visit at the top of the year and possible live there.

So many people are buying with the intention of renting it out in dollars, meanwhile that relies on foreigners and a small segment of the population. Between my first and second year there’s been a significant decrease in airbnb rentals in ghana and it’s only going to get worse as supply increases. My two cents

Ghana and Kenya are both remarkable countries, each offering its own unique qualities. Ghana stands out for its spiritual significance, shaped by its rich history. The land is deeply connected to the ancestors who were sent to the Americas, Europe, and the Caribbean. As a result, many returnees find it easy to connect spiritually. The feeling you get when you first arrive in Ghana is unlike any other African country-it’s truly unique. However, Ghana faces challenges in terms of organization and infrastructure, where Kenya excels. Kenya’s roads, internet connectivity, and overall infrastructure are far more developed than Ghana’s. On the other hand, Ghana tends to outperform Kenya in certain areas like safety. Ghana has fewer security concerns, with no terrorist activity and peaceful relations with its neighbors. Kenya, unfortunately, has struggled with terrorism due to extremist groups operating in neighboring countries. For entrepreneurs, Ghana might offer more opportunities. The country is in the midst of rapid development, creating a fertile ground for new ventures. In contrast, Kenya is already more developed, with many projects either completed or in progress, which may offer fewer opportunities for those looking to build from the ground up. When it comes to nightlife, both countries offer vibrant experiences. However, there’s a cultural difference: Ghanaian women tend to be more conservative compared to their Kenyan counterparts. In conclusion, whether you prefer Ghana or Kenya depends on what you're looking for-spiritual connection and growth in a developing country, or a more developed infrastructure and entrepreneurial environment. Both have much to offer.

The guy cant even think of anything that stood out in kenya nairobi (2:38) lets think of one, lets think of one, he kept on saying and ended up coming up with nothing. 😂😂, like we all know austin needs Ghana to make his content, because he knows there is nothing to talk about once you get pass safari, nightlife and malls. thats it, content dry, how many times can you go to see animals and the same old clubs. So he needs Ghana content to keep his channel up. The difference with diasporans in Ghana you never see them making youtube videos with the title Ghana is better than kenya, because there is so much to talk.about ghana and what they are doing in Ghana.

Ghana's fault, the year of return was needless. Bcos of that they think we need them soo much that they moving to other African countries will hurt us 😅

@@ObaamoSafithe Year of Return marked 400 years since Africans landed in North America against their will and it has significant historical recognition to remind us all of the atrocities against Africans committed by the Europeans. To say it was needless is baffling.

@zerosumgame3722 Ghana has a 2030 development agenda and the year of return was just a distraction bcos of some of these behaviors.

Austin you’re doing wonders, even Kenyans who left their homeland thinking America was paradise are now returning back home. You’re really shaming em up …they’re like “if this American dude can love my own country, why can’t I?” You need to exchange more African Americans to replace Kenyans who left. Come on! Laugh at em😅
