Kenya was that girl in the 90/early naughts. Man, I didn't realize she was on an episode of almost all the 90s Black sitcoms. I wonder why she never had a full time role in any sitcom? She was a natural talent and funny too. I've always found Kenya gorgeous but looking at those 90's clips and photos I'm like OMG! She was (and still is) stunning.

I think she's beautiful but.... she was treated like she was a bimbo. I think they should have given her better roles. I think people were intimidated by her beauty and that she didn't get her props. or maybe she had the wrong agent. they tended to harp on her beauty but they didn't give her credit for being intelligent. That happens a lot when you are beautiful. People think that that's all you are nothing else. I think that she should have been mainstreamed like Hallie Berry was it was refreshing to see someone who was and is actually brown skin instead of as my mom used to say light,bright and damn near white.

In the 90s those were all the hit shows and black movies so whoever her manager was back then did great with her!! Of course she is no Halle Barry but she played the type of rolls that were best for her level of acting. Her rolls were based off her look and she was good at that particular roll but she was everywhere back then!! Just like Tyra Banks!! I loved her too when I was a kid! I definitely looked up to all of the brow. Skin beauties. They definitely helped shape me as a child and made me want to be a beautiful, elegant chocolate woman. It was nice seeing so much of that when I was kid. We don’t see it as much anymore though and I hate that for todays brown skin young women!! Now you got Suki with the good coochies 🤷🏾‍♀️😭😭
