The stylist from the show said most of the pieces that the girls wore were from Tracee’s closet. They didn’t have a lot of money so Tracee was sweet enough to let them use her wardrobe. She’s a fashion icon on and off the camera and I love that they reused pieces. There’s one dress that I love that she wears at least 3 times throughout the seasons. You don’t ever catch the reuse unless you’re paying lots of attention. The fashion on this show is relatable but elevated. It’s not try hard like shows of today.

Its true, I remember seeing some of the tops, dresses worn multiple times which is realistic and some of the clothes on the show worn on the carpet or out caught by paparazzi. And I love Tracee's style, she really is an icon.

Joan wore Christian Louboutin OUT!! She literally had a new pair almost every episode which I didn't peep until I re-watched the series as an adult. Joan was basically black peoples' Carrie Bradshaw, just with her finances together lol

Joan got on my nerves sometimes but I loved her fashion and I definitely agree with you with her being in her ‘ it girl ‘ era and her friends being jealous….. especially Toni because she wasn’t the center of attention at the time all though I love Toni she was definitely jealous.

Please do a video on the 5th girlfriend, Monica. Back then I was in my late teens and didn't like her. But I rewatched the show last year now in my early thirties and she was so right! She upgraded Williams' life, called out the girls every time and did that while looking fabulous! She is def my fave now

Tracee Ellis Ross is so hilarious to me! I remember her being in this sketch show on mtv called The Lyricist's Lounge Show, and she is still so memorable. She truly has it all!

I thought I was the only one who couldn't stand Maya especially when she put Joan between her and Darnell's drama she was a HORRIBLE friend and could never be nice to anyone, not even her own child🙄and I loved Joan's fashion more than Toni she always dressed so nice to me ❤

When I really hated Maya was season 2 when she knew Joan and Stan were interested in each other and told Joan to stop seeing Stan because she needed the attention she wasn’t getting from Darnell, only to get stalked by Stan and tossed out by Darnell when she got busted. Who did she run crying to? Joan! She’s Trash!
