Mark 4:11-12 - Jesus said to His 12 Apostles "to you has been given the secret of the Kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables, so that they may indeed see but not perceive and may indeed hear but not understand, lest they should turn again and be forgiven". Mark 13:5-6 - Jesus warned us "take heed that no one leads you astray. Many will come in My name, saying I am he and they will leads many astray". Mark 13:13 - Jesus said to His Apostles "and you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved". Mark 13:22-23 - Jesus warned us "false christs and false prophets will arise and show signs and wonders to leafs astray, if possible the elect. But take heed, I have told you all things beforehand".

Yay! Great coverage. Canadian of African descent here. I was just in Kenya last month for work and went to Mass (St Don Bosco parish in Upper hill) and what an experience!! Wow. I was moved to tears. From the prayerful attitude, the homily, the respect for the Eucharist, the Swahili songs, the ululating, the incense! So much reverence for God, Mary and the Saints. Praying for you all. As a millennial of half Somali and half Ethiopian descent and an Eastern Orthodox Christian, this is wonderful news. We all know that Africa is the fastest-growing continent, with the most rapid growth of Christians in the world. With the Lord on our side and the ongoing blessings of the Roman Catholic Church, we can work together to bring the fullness of the true apostolic church of Jesus Christ to the people. This is something that cannot be provided by fake Pentecostal TV pastors and tongue-speaking charlatans who lack theological education and knowledge of true worship traditions and sacraments. Here in Europe where i was born and raised, we are particularly struggling with an strange combination of Faithless Secular Wokeism and radical Islamic influence that disrupts our Judeo-Christian values and societal frameworks. But I'm rejoicing that's not the case for majority of Africa where Christianity is now maturing into the next epicentre of our beautiful religion. Glory be to God, ✝ Christ is risen ☦

@@johnnymonoxide9220 Lol I know right. At least very rare back in the late 80s when I was born, now it's probably more common,. Many ethnic Somalis are marrying out. I know a few Somali guys, moderate Muslims, who are married to non Somalis. And Somali women are marrying all kinds of races. I'm a mix of Oromo Borana from the Ethiopian side (my mother) and the Somali Kenyan paternal side, specifically from the Somali clan Ajuraan, who were the former rulers of Somalis back in medieval times. I also have some Degodia qabil mixed in there. Basically, I come from a long line of stubborn pastoralists who dwell in the northern part of modern-day Kenya. In my family, we are all Eastern Christian Orthodox but have good friendships with our Catholic friends in Africa. I was mostly raised around wealthy white people, but I know some Somalis here and there. However, I'm not necessarily close to those in Europe as they often move in different social circles than I do. I am more westernized and obviously not Muslim, so we don't have too much in common. Nevertheless, I do interact with some of them, especially these days as many are ex-Muslims and more open-minded about life. Two years ago, I also visited Somaliland during Ramadan, which was a mind-blowing experience. There are lots of crypto-Christian youth there who have discovered the Gospel online and fearing for their lives. In the name of the Father, Son ,and the Holy Spirit, Be blessed my brother. Based on your experience in Somaliland, how receptive are the Somalis to the gospel? Did you meet any Christians? I worked with Somali/African refugees who lied about being persecuted for converting to Christianity just to stay in Canada. I'm always sceptical of Somalis claiming to be Christians.

I agree 💯💯 St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Houston Texas were very nice to me when I was living in America and was struggling....though I wasn't even a Catholic but a Baptist. I asked an American colleague who wanted to take me to lunch before I returned home to Kenya to please make a donation in my name to that Church instead. Then after returning home I felt GOD calling me to the Catholic Church and here I am. The happiest and most fulfilled I have been in my *entire* life! The history of the church in Kenya is much, much older than the nineteenth century. It had existed at the coast and interior for a much longer time through trade. Abyssinian Catholics were already trading with the coast for centuries. A long, rich, deep history with seasons of revival, as happened after the European invasion. Anyway , do pray for Kenya and its children undergoing a season of cleansing, a huge generational shift against forces of evil. Please ask God our Abba, to send His Holy Spirit, protective saints and Archangels to the young people on the frontlines of a new dawn. May our holy church also be their shield and shelter.

Jambo Gracie! I lived in America for many many years and I used to be homesick for Kenya and feel like crying every time I had to go back because of work, after a three week vacation. I finally pulled the trigger and packed it all in to return to Kenya. I've been happier here the last 6 years than I ever was in all my years in the USA. And I became a Catholic when I returned home. I was a Baptist and Church hopping Protestant while in America but I started tiptoeing into The Catholic Church while working with Spanish Tourists here in Kenya just because I wanted to better be able to serve my clients, never dreaming it was GOD'S way of luring me into the Mother Church, which as a Protestant I was staunchly opposed to😄 It's been the best phase of my Christian walk so far. I can honestly say I'm *madly* in love with The Rosary Prayer, my favorite Catholic devotion❣️ It has become a life saver for my daily mental health and overall stability as a human operating in this wicked and chaotic world! Yes yes we need the African Priests and Nuns here in Australia, USA, UK, New Zealand, Canada and other Western countries desperately because the Europeans are getting older and passing so we really need the African Priests and Nuns here quickly pleasssssseeeeee.
