Wode Maya in your wife's dialect and probably Madowo's too, Luo or "dholuo" translates to 'wuod mama' so probably Nilotic roots. I watched your interview with Madowo on CNN in my living room in Houston, TX and I was moved by your motivations and the things that drive you. Like you, I am also an engineer (chemical) working in technology development for the lithium industry with the ultimate goal of helping Africa get more for her lithium. That's all I can say right now! This msg right now is to give you and Madowo kudos for that CNN expose. We got your message loud and clear from the diaspora especially about investment in Africa. However, for those of us that don't command $$$ but have the technological ability to make that happen, oftentimes we are treated as part of the problem because we live in the same diaspora that Africa shuns. How do we overcome that and focus on the things we have in common, mother Africa, in a win-win way? Just wondering!

Ha ha I love my country Ghana 🇬🇭 The interaction of total strangers behaving like they have known each other forever. An exchange of ideas and cuisine shows the diversity of our great continent AFRICA! I see the full experience includes being burnt 😮 My only complaint too many plastic bags, - let's respect our environment Total ambivalence as i laugh and cry at the same time
