You have to understand that Mombasa and Malindi cities in Kenya are major drug trafficking rings hence that high sense of security on the trains. That's why they have the sniffer dogs. Guys, if you prefer a plate of food for breakfast rather than tea/coffee (watu wa ugali asubuhi) sgr has a fruit salad for 250 and rice n chicken with some greens for 400. Delicious n filling and affordable which I really appreciated coz I don't like coffee and am on a gluten free diet so I wasn't feeling the sandwich n mandazis And if you don't mind paying an extra fee use the first class ticket. You get more leg room 😉

I came to understand that Europeans are not familiar with this kinder security , and we are sorry for the scare , but , please it's just part of what it takes to maintain the safety of our country n to ensure everybody on our soil is happy n enjoying their lives without being bothered with a possibility of undergoing anything bad.
