Really interesting. Seeing these birds and looking at birds on my river here in Japan with new eyes. Thank you for a great episode. Good shots, helpful friendly commentary, makes me want to visit Kenya!

I remember this place in 2018, and we were lucky to find the Taita Long-claw one of the Kenya's endemic species.

Great video quality and a hawk's eye! I also recommend you to follow the basic techniques to reduce the wind noise: use condenser microphone hidden under your shirt (using a tape) or, if it's "shotgun" mic, then use a "deadcat".

I enjoyed watching this! Also noticed you used the pronoun "he" for the birds. I am noticing with most water birds featured here, there's no much of a difference in plumages of males and females.
