This guy is a rare jewel. Very smart, hands-on, God-fearing and he is a humble servant. By the time he left University of New York he knew he was going back home to work not to just sit in the office reading newspapers. He brings home that work ethic. Very proud of him. I just felt like Sam was very intruding on his personal life towards the end. I mean, he has already made his stand regarding privacy. Get with it! Thank you

Hi Mheshimiwa, with school fees capped at 53000 Ksh per year per student by the ministry, some public schools have opted to loot from parents in the name of school development kitty. Last year, I paid a total of 23000ksh above the 53000ksh per year. As if this is not enough this year its has been made a must to pay 20000ksh for the same kitty.Students are sent away if their parents have not paid for fundraiser and I'm worried because the deadline to clear this years fundraiser is on 7/7/2018 and I'm not in a position to pay and I may find my son at home. This school operates two accounts numbers one for equity (for the fundraiser)and the other for the official school fees which is a KCB account. The schools name is Moi Boys High school Mbiruri-Runyenjes

great interview but i feel the interviewer stressed too much about personal issues
@natiiveson48468 жыл бұрын
+Jason Paul, Agreed. I think we (the society) dwell too much on superficial things like one's personal life, one's lifestyle, what house you live in, what car you drive, where your children go to school e.t.c. instead of one's moral character and moral set up. This man is clearly driven by a certain set of moral values and it is that very aspect that we lack as a country. had he given the interviewer information on what he loves- sijui playing polo, drinking busaa, going to whatever night club e.t.c., that nonsense could have overshadowed the great things he has done in the ministry. The media could have come up with crazy and useless headlines like: News headline: CS Matiang'i loves playing polo, drives a VW Jetta! Then the newspapers could have written acres on non important issues. No one cares what one drives or what sport he plays. There was a lot this guy could have asked. For example, as the Information Technology cabinet secretary, he fought the media cartels during the digital migration era but this guy didn't ask one question about it.This way, we'd have got to learn about the man more as well as what drives him. He missed a chance.
