I was lucky enough to attend Ortum High School in West Pokot, 2009 - 2011. We used to go fetch drinking water from a nearby community spring, and from the interactions I had with the people there, and my fellow students, I can say that they are very kind, law abiding citizens. Nothing like what Jeff is trying to portray. EDIT: By 2010 we had clean water piped to the school.
