In Kenya before the 1990s if you were educated, you were an enemy to those who were in power, Brilliant individuals like Dr Ouko is a classic example.

Yup, our independence was negotiated by the few "leaders" who colluded with the existing British government for amnesty. Even in our history books it's only the MauMau revolution documented, yet for the British to relent, revolution came from all over the country from so many tribes (and there were 42tribes then, so do the math!) We are hushed about our true history but I will always be honest with my kids on what really happened!

This documentary was a mostly meant to sanitize the likes of Biwott. Ouko was murdered in Nakuru State Lodge by Biwott. Wajackoya had the tapes of phone call between Biwott. Biwott, Jonah Anguka, Philip Kilonzo, Hezekiah Oyugi were all involved and Moi knew.

KZbin was not the investigating, Hezekiah Oyugi is the one who handed Dr. Ouko to the the killers and Biwott pulled the trigger as Jonah Anguka watched, Simple Moi ordered the killing of a brilliant Kenyan son.

Another attempt to cover up Ouko's death. It's curious that an investigative piece spanning +5hrs would end without telling us anything about Oyugi's much publicised medical trip to London. Anything about Moi's public statement about those who killed him as the same as Saitoti's attempted killers.
